Just had a lovely relaxed lunch on a dull Saturday. The experience brightened my day! Our main waiter Bradley was genuinely friendly, polite and gave us a very good service. I have a nut allergy he said that wasn't a problem makes you feel good and that you aren't a problem!. Food very good, both taste and presentation. Lovely Posh... More

I had been here with groups of friends and had always have a great time. We decided to go out for lunch and normally I am reluctant to order Sunday lunch out as it usually does not look very appealing. I am so pleased I did! I had roast chicken and my husband had beef and both meals were excellent.... More

I met my friend here for lunch and so glad I did. The food was amazing, piping hot and very big portions. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff excellent. Great value for money too. Can't wait to return.

It was a Sunday lunch time my family were staying for the weekend and they decided it was time I treated them all for a Sunday Lunch. We selected The Hare, A pint and a Pint a public house, as I am often eating at restaurants I was reluctant to chose yet another renovated pub which serves quick chilled microwave... More

We took some elderly friends here for lunch for their anniversary. The meal was very enjoyable and good value for money. Unfortunately when we went there was also a large party of pensioners which mean't that we had to wait longer than usual for our food but that was the only down side. We have always enjoyed our visits here... More

Visited the Hare for family evening meal on 5/9/14. As always the food and service were good, though a bit too much of a wait between starters and mains. At least that indicates food is freshly cooked, and may also be down to the fact that at 7.30pm on a Friday the place was busy. Price is reasonable, food is... More

Often go to the restaurant with friends for lunch, but a Friday evening dinner for just my wife and I might have been a different 'kettle of fish'. It wasn't...same high quality of food, good service (even though busy), friendly staff and a reasonable sized bill at the end. Yes...superb value for money. Last week, a far inferior meal in... More

Visited Friday evening with my 7yr old twin girls and 9 year old daughter and husband. Great selection and I love the fact you can order a little plate for children or adults. The food was delicious and a good selection offered. The waitress was absolutely lovely and smiley. The girls have begged us to return. good portion sizes. A... More

Super big menu and lots of choice. Really lovely staff and we loved the small plates. We had a mini pie steak & ale pie and chips and at first we had eyes bigger than our tummies and then realised that a mini plate for lunch is perfect. Thank you!

We went as a family on Saturday lunchtime and enjoyed a very good meal. Amongst the eight adults a good variety of meals were enjoyed - liver and bacon, smoked haddock, battered cod and chips, seafood linguini and pan fried chicken. Whilst desserts were tempting the main courses proved too filling and whilst we did not drink much alcohol the... More
