Great value for money

A good place for a drink after a hard days decorating. Convenient, lots of choice, good value for money.

Food was ok value for money drinks the same its just a shame the people that work behind the bar don't smile and you have to stand a round for a long time before anybody even takes notice of you before you get a drink.

We had breakfast in the Barking Dog. I wanted some orange squash which they obliged without a problem. Our food arrived very quickly (it was hot and cooked). Pretty standard spoons resteraunt. Cheap and cheerful!

We visited the pub twice as we were stopping overnight in Barking. On the first night we had the steak and kidney puddings which were good. They also have a wide range of real ales at very decent prices for London. The staff and people in the pub were friendly. We then called the next day for breakfast on the... More

Its a typical wetherspoon pub. If you are a real ale drinker then you are in heaven but if not then you will still pay far less for your drink here than most pubs. Yes its Barking and its a run down town, however I found the people in there were very friendly and the staff also came over as... More

Visited this J.D. Wetherspoon pub last month, in need of a drink before taking a train from Barking Station next door. I entered the pub, having negotiated my way around a group of people crowding the entrance. The interior was rather busy with families. There was the usual good selection of cask ale available that I expect at a Wetherspoons... More

Used as convenient to hotel and station. Not all Wetherspoons in London have Fish Friday on offer. Very busy and noisy pub on the evening, fish looked good but was slightly undercooked. Service excellent. Breakfast next morning OK, quick service and usual good quality for this chain

Visited Friday and Saturday this weekend for food. The toilets are on the small side and the whole place is very busy on a Friday night. Despite this the food is good and the drinks prices are excellent for being in the London area.
