Beware the cost of bread

Lovely food and service but a bit put out by the cost of bread to go with the mussels - essential to mop up the gorgeous sauce ! We were charged an extra £4 for what amounted to half a french stick. Don't mind paying a decent price for well cooked food but surely, given the price, bread could be... read more

This quaint little seafront restaurant is charasmatic, quirky and fun. The food is always good and service never flawed. Perfect place for lunch or dinner.

Really enjoyed my meal this weekend... Although I had Steak something I can't really cook at home as it sends my Smoke alarm off as I enjoy it Black n Rare. To start I had Duck Satay which was just delicious. My Friend had a burger and she felt it was the best she ever tasted. The only reason to... More

Stopped here for lunch on Sunday having been here before. The food was very good, we both had the special that was a Chicken cassoulet that was very tasty and home made. Service was slow but we sat in the window so were not in a hurry.

The specialism of mussels were delicious in a sauce to die for that I just could not stop supping to the last drop. Waitress noted she'd not seen it before. Not sure what the decor was saying though and the freezing wind sneaked through the adjacent ill-fitting front door.

I love this restaurant and have visited several times. All my experiences have been fantastic. My most recent was in November for my birthday and our entire party were blown away by the quality of the meal and the ambience. Staff are lovely and attentive without encroaching on our privacy and again, the food is outstanding. My mouth waters when... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this intimate and tiny restaurant! I was looking for something different and lo and behold there it is tucked between a fish and chip shop and a Café! The mussels are wonderful with so much variety and flavour, the seafood platter is just superb, staff are fantastic and friendly! Food arrived on time and golly... More

A lovely little restaurant, four of us went for my wife's birthday. Scallops and chorizo were on the main course special but my wife and I wanted mussels as main, no problem they knocked up starter sized scallops for us, nice to see a restaurant that will let the customer have what they want. The mussels were delicious, many different... More

We like this both in the evening for a night out and in the daytime for a family lunch. The fish is excellent, and the fishcakes are great. Well made chips, a good selection of puddings, beers and wines, the only complaint is the service can be a little slow.
