This former pub now converted in to a carvery works on the mantra "Pile em high and sell it cheap" and it does. You don't get any pretension, find a table, pay for the meal and go an collect it. The food is well cooked and there is ample to choose from and at The price offered, between £3.49, £3.99... More

Lets start with the most positive aspect of this restaurant, the carvery is so reasonably priced. Apart from Fast Food chains, where else can you feed a family for £20 or less? We are fairly regular customers, maybe six times a year, due to the value for money and lack of similar places in the area. They also do an... More

Good food at a great price. If you are after a value carvery, I would recomend this place. Kids loved the choices and plenty to choose from for less than a tenner!

When we arrived there wasn't a clean table there was food all over the floor and cutlery, my arm stuck to the window ledge, we went for a nice roast carvery on a Sunday evening and we were offered chips !! We left to hear the poor family next to us complaining also, I know it's cheap but that's no... More

I didn't know that gammon coud sliced so thinly! Compared to other Crown Carvery restaurants visited this one is really mean on the meat portion. Staffing levels appeared to be low, as it was difficult to get service at the table. Food quality was perfectly adequate. Avoid the new low sugar chocolate and cherry cake, unless you really like the... More

On Sunday we very short of time because my daughter was busy with uni work but we wanted a meal out before she went back. Chose Kings Arms as it would be quick - or so we thought! We were... More

Oh such a pity as this used to be such a lovely place with great management, great staff and was always packed. The management her is now appalling. If you ask for anything the staff throw it die non the table, the manager is unkempt and cannot communicate with customers. There were only two tables being used when we visited... More
