We visited the Windmill on Sunday November 23rd with friends. The staff were friendly and we were served promptly. Our food was delicious with good portions of meat and vegetables. Would recommend this pub for good food at a reasonable price with excellent service.

I had been here a number of times with different groups. Always the food is delicious and I wonder how they can get such a range of food choices ready at the same time. The decor is tasteful and the tables immaculate. I would like to see the entrance from the car park a little more suited to senior people... More

Visited with a group of friends for an evening out. Enjoyed a drink in the bar where menus were presented Between the six of us we had four different starters and main courses. All agreed that the food was wonderful. The décor in the dining room was excellent and the tables were beautifully set. The staff could not have been... More

Just ate at The Windmill last night & enjoyed it. The food was tasty & well prepared & the service was friendly (if a little slow). Both my dining companions had skillets which were very flavourful & I had the ham steak which was enjoyable. The sides were plentiful & very fresh and although we didn't have starters those we... Lovely evening for the Church Harvest supper with scrumptious food and excellent service. We filled the restaurant and everything arrived promptly and hot.

Just returned from a fabulous evening at The Windmill inn. Had the Stilton pate, followed by the lamb shank and finished with strawberry roulade. Every single dish was scrumptious. Atmosphere was great without being intrusive. Very friendly, attentive service. To sum up; best meal I've had in a long while. Would absolutely recommend this little gem.

We were staying with friends in Norfolk. Following their suggestion and recommendation, we went for a meal at the Windmill Inn. We ordered our meals in the bar area where we had a predinner drink. When our table was ready, we went through to the very cosy dining room which was nicely set out. The food was absolutely superb, I... More

Came here for a family meal and we had to use the bar area as the restaurant was booked up for a party. The bar is very dingy looking and the tables and placemats have seen better days. The restaurant looked much more appealing. My starter of stilton pate was very nice but maybe a few more crackers would have... More

It saddens me that your experience was not the bset for you, I cant apologise for our busy restaurant being fully booked, which meant you had to dine in our dingy bar, but sometimes even the best get it wrong, however i do feel the " cup-a-soup " was a pretty cheap remark but did make me smile :) I... There seems to be a system whereby the bar and the restaurant are operated independently. When we visited the bar seemed understaffed with one lady trying to operate to serving areas but unable to see customers at one bar while serving at the other. The result was that the food ordering was a bit protracted. When we got in, the... More

The restaurant area is very cosy, with almost individual rooms, and just pleasant for enjoying a good meal without that very loud noise you seem to get in other pubs. Decor is very relaxing, and the staff are helpful, and there if you need them without being always in your face. Food is very well presented, and to a very... More
