What a gem...!

What a great little bistro, which delivers what it says on the tin. We had a three courses with coffee and an amazing bottle of roija for less than £80. The quality of the food was second to none, the veg was cooked to perfection. My personal recommendation would be the stuffed chicken, followed by... read more

This quaint little restaurant in Sheringham was wonderful. We were greeted by a very cheerful staff. The atmosphere is very good and the staff really couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. We had an excellent evening and the foot was outstanding. Some of the best lamb I have ever tasted. I would definately recomment Marmalade's to... More

If you're staying in Sheringham don't bother getting in your car just book a table at Marmalades. The service may be a bit on the slow side but the food is well prepared with good quality ingredients. I had a local crab and smoked salmon roulade served with a zingy grapefruit and apple salad followed by pan fried duck with... More

Had a lovely evening - so many tantalising items on menu - soup of the day was superb - followed by succulent lamb for main course - cheesecake tiramisu style for dessert ... Accompanied by 'unputdownable' Rioja. Service was extremely friendly

Just had a very pleasant dinner here. I had the mussels followed by the slow cooked rump of lamb and my partner had the filo prawns followed by sirloin steak. To my mind the star of the show was the mussels, small, tasty and similar to Normandy moulle a'la creme but with the addition of a touch of fennel -... More

This remains my favourite restaurant in North Norfolk at the moment. The menu is interesting and the flavours and service are excellent. My only small criticism is that, for me, the portions are rather small, especially at the price. However, I know many people prefer portions this size anyway. One final good point - if unlike me you do not... More

My family and I visited Marmalades between Christmas & New Year. When we first entered there was a bit of a "deep fried" smell and we wondered what we had let ourselves in for. However, this was very misleading as we soon discovered a varied and interesting menu that appealed to all of us. Very well cooked & presented food... More

We are in beautiful Sheringham for an extended holiday. We know the town well having lived here in the 80s and having a property here ever since. We like to lunch out and have several favourite spots dotted along the coast. Today we were in Sheringham and thought we would try Marmalades. Perhaps the fact that there were only two... More

We apologised for the genuine mistake on the price of the cup of tea and tried to give you a refund on this. Our cup of tea is £1.10 and mug £1.20. Everywhere in Sheringham is either quiet or closed in January, being second homers in the area you would have knowledge of this, so the title of this review... More
