Having been to the nearby Blakeney Point to see the famous seals, we had a hankering for pub food fish and chips, and not 5 minutes' walk from the car park was the Anchor. It had a lovely feel to it, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our food arrived within minutes of ordering, which was fantastic, and I... More

The food, atmosphere and service is great. Norfolk is well known for its excellent eating. But this place is really good. Without fail the food is always delicious and unusual. And not overpriced or over hyped either. Just my kind of place. Long may it stay just as it is!

We always visit The Anchor when in North Norfolk, food good and the ambience is delightful. Staff very courteous and welcoming, including water for the dog! The toilet facilities are first class.

Stopped here for lunch when walking the North Norfolk Coastal Path. Its right on the main road in the village so easy to find. We found the menu to have a very good selection for lunch. But settled on the local caught crab and salad. A good choice as it was delicious. And came with potato salad and coleslaw as... More

Lamb curry better than local takeaway, better to eat in older part of pub as it has more character, bottle of wine on the more expensive side. Good service and atmosphere.

Visited for lunch with a friend before a fabulous walk from Morston to Siffkey. Crab sandwiches and garnish very tasty, but on a beautiful daseptic a packed pub service was poor. My drink was duplicated by two different waitresses but after waiting 20minutes for my ice cream for dessert to arrive we decided we needed to start our walk before... More

Our starters were first class , well presented... More

I was very impressed with both food and service in the pub. I had the gnocchi and thought it was perfectly cooked! Reasonably priced. Parking is easy. Will definitely be back
