Reserved a table for 12 people on Easter Sunday, delicious food, good service, nice friendly atmosphere! Dog & child friendly! Returned a few days later for a light lunch & although the restaurant was full they were able to fit us in!

Visited in June after a seal trip. I had the burger which was very nice, followed by salted caramel ice cream which was delicious! Overall nice dinner, buttock along while to clear plates between courses, and had to ask for the bill 5 times!

Called in the Anchor for a Sunday lunch drink. As always the staff were most welcoming, the "nibbles" very tasty and the atmosphere excellent. North Norfolk has many Pubs doing food and drinks but not many do it well, the Anchor consistently do it well!!

We recently ate twice at the Anchor Inn. Food was amazing and locally sourced which is a real bonus. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. Loved the decor in the pub, full of lots of old photos of the area and a nice change from the usual pub chains. Unfortunately though we had issues with the service on both... More

This is the second time I have been to your pub and the food has been blinding. The service was second to none and always kept my glass topped up. It's not often you see lobster and chips on a menu but when it turned up it looked great and also tasted just as good. I had fish and chips... More

We only wanted a light lunch, so shared whitebait and an anti pasta board. Both were delicious, with very fresh ingredients. Attentive, helpful staff. Will return with bigger appetites! A friend recently took an elderly, rather difficult, relative, who didn't fancy what was on the menu. The chef cooked a simple fish dish with chips, not on the menu, and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this place. Food was great! I wish I was a bit more adventurous with the food because the burger I had was delicious. The brioche bun wasn't claggy or too floury. The meat was of good quality. Smoked bacon, cheese, it was all there. We were also there for breakfast as it was part of the stay... More
