After visiting a very poor pub close by the owners of the B&B we stayed at recommended this pub/restaurant. Food was very nice indeed, staff were friendly (I think they'd benefit from some coordinating shirts though, it would make them look a lot more professional) and all in all it was a great time. highly recommended food; home made burger... This is going to seem like a mean review but we we're genuinely disappointed at the experience at the Anchor Inn. We love food and based on previous reviews thought we'd be in for a treat - we weren't. I think the food cooked exceeds the capabilities of the chef which is a shame, maybe we had a bad night,... Friday night Curry and a Pint for £10. Great value! Served in the attractive restaurant. The Anchor Inn is the centre for booking a trip to see the Seals at Blakeney Point. Take your best camera.

We phoned to book the day before as we had decided to go out from Morston on a seal trip. They were more than happy to squeeze us in on an obviously busy & booked up Friday evening. We arrived early & the staff were happily gearing up for an 80's night. The band was in & out setting up... More

Had an early evening meal here this week. Food was excellent, staff efficient and attentive. Good value for money. All in all couldn't fault it.

We went there for an evening meal and really enjoyed it. The food and service were really what we expected. And we really enjoyed our time there

Reserved a table for 12 people on Easter Sunday, delicious food, good service, nice friendly atmosphere! Dog & child friendly! Returned a few days later for a light lunch & although the restaurant was full they were able to fit us in!

Visited in June after a seal trip. I had the burger which was very nice, followed by salted caramel ice cream which was delicious! Overall nice dinner, buttock along while to clear plates between courses, and had to ask for the bill 5 times!

Called in the Anchor for a Sunday lunch drink. As always the staff were most welcoming, the "nibbles" very tasty and the atmosphere excellent. North Norfolk has many Pubs doing food and drinks but not many do it well, the Anchor consistently do it well!!
