The Viceroy is generally the place to go for Indian eat in/takeaway. Unfortunately the last time we had a takeaway, which was a while ago from here, it was as poor as it was tonight. Tonight we ordered and the food arrived within the stated time. Sadly the poppadoms tasted stale, no crunch at all. I had the fish tikka... More

I've used them a lot for delivery and have usually been pleased. Visiting the restaurant was disappointing. The waiter delivered the wrong dish to my friend, we ordered naan bread at the outset, we reminded him of this halfway through our meal. He apologised and said he would get it. It still never arrived. The manager told us that the... More

The food is impeccable, each dish tastes fresh and unique as opposed to the 'generic base curry' that some places serve up. I had the garlic chicken chilli and it was awesome. Soft succulent chicken pieces in a rich... More

I've been going here with my family since i was very little and they have always been friendly and the food has always tasted great. The sauces tatse fresh and not out of a jar and the decoration makes it feel very modern!!

The addition of mdf ceilings and fish tank lights hasn't done anything to improve this average Bangladeshi restaurant. Sometimes the staff are helpful and polite and sometimes they leave you hanging like petrol station attendants, too busy for conversation. Food is average for any 'Indian' restaurant and nothing is very exciting. Special dishes taste like everything else on the menu... More
