Visited on a Wednesday for lunch after 1pm and it was packed. An indication of its popularity. It's a bit cramped inside when full. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. All in all a great experience and highly recommended. Will be visiting regularly.

Always assured of a great time, relaxing in the shade of Southill Tea Rooms garden trees, fine bone china & fine food, & we were not disappointed this time either. Warm Cheese Scones with a chunk of cheddar cheese, sweet chutney & a little salad, Breakfast & Green Tea, all served with a smile. The place was 75% full, as... More

Very pleasant garden setting, also tables available inside. Basic menu, but what was on offer was very fresh, mostly home made and good value for money. Lovely to have a pot of tea and china cups. All very nice, restful and friendly.

Tempted by an all-day breakfast, but settled for a cheesy scone, cheese and chutney - beautifully served on bone china by efficient and friendly waitress. Love it here and find any excuse to make the 20 mile round-trip to this pretty village. Wish the venture continued success.

The team rooms are a step back into genteel England, beverages and food are served in real china. There is a good choice of home made food and diet busting cakes. Prices are very reasonable, staff friendly and accommodating.

We had late morning brunch, bacon in a roll, my partner had bacon with egg, which he said was very good, mine was good also. It was a lovely sunny morning what a perfect place to enjoy good food in an English country garden. Sitting in a well kept garden in dappled shade a lovely way to spend a morning.... More

Quintessential English tearoom, with lots more to offer - quaint interior tearoom, with pretty, large cottage garden with tables and chairs under trees, village shop and unusual gift shop. Good morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea selection - either home baked or locally sourced - with friendly, efficient staff. We only went for morning coffee, but stayed 2 hours! -... More

Lovely tea rooms hidden away in the country. Small but perfectly formed with plenty of tables outside if the weather is good. The food is fabulous and plentiful. Scones in particular are delicious as are the cakes and sandwiches. Good selection available. Staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful. We usually visit at weekend for a light lunch at very... I stumbled upon this tea room whilst out on a bummel on an old bicycle. It was so fitting just to stop and savour the delights of a lovely garden with old fashioned plants. And of course a cup of tea and a ploughmans lunch. Four types of cheese, some fruity onion relish, I believe to be local, a half... More
