Best Tea Room by far

Always excellent service, good value and very friendly atmosphere. We go there as often as we can for breakfast (try the Breakfast Bap), morning tea (coffee just as excellent), lunch (great platter), or afternoon tea ( a feast for the eye as well as the stomach).

We popped in for coffees & sandwiches on a sunny afternoon. It is in a lovely village & in an idyllic garden setting. The sandwiches were freshly made & food & drinks served on dainty mismatched china. Staff are friendly & accommodating. Garden furniture could do with some attention now the weather is on the up but the setting in... More

what a beautiful tea shop. It is laid out nicely with proper tablecloths and cutlery and the tea comes out in dainty China tea cups. You can have an afternoon tea, little sandwiches and cakes or there is a normal snack food menu and a selection of fresh cakes. I had the jacket potato and it was tasty. The girls... More

Delightful tea rooms in smallest of spaces, with outside seating for finer weather, large selection of cakes and sandwiches, with usual selections of hot and cold drinks. Very pleasant staff. Nice to have proper bone china cups and saucers and embroidered table cloths, also added advantage of small village shop, catering for everyday needs, as Southill doesn't have good Public... More

Exactly what you want from a tea room in a lovely village. The decor is very pretty and the crockery is delicate. We had lunch and it was lovely,I had a large cheese scone with chutney and it was delicious. Worth a visit after a country walk

This tea room is small but charming in the old fashion way. It serves breakfast, lunch and "fab" afternoon teas. In the summer you can sit in the garden. the menu is small and the food is freshly prepared for you and the home made cakes are delicious. This tea room is a step back in time.

We dropped in for a cup of tea on the afternoon of Valentine's day, and noted that they also did scones. I don't expect to be offered a choice of five different types of scone.... I don't expect one of them to be cheese (as a diabetic, this is very welcome), and I certainly didn't expect their idea of "with... More
