The tea room used to be the Southill Post Office until it was closed down a few years ago. It is a jewel. We pride ourselves on home baked cakes and scones and hope that you enjoy them just as much as we do.

Charming!

The first time we had visited this tea room was during an open garden event, which was fabulous. We sat outside in the warm sunshine and had tea served in china cups and a lovely slice of cake each. It's a very quaint little place, which serves sandwiches as well, and has a little shop inside... read more

Southill tea room is based in the old post office in the village of Southill. Although small and compact inside the atmosphere is lovely. There is a large garden out the front with picnic tables. The afternoon tea (best to prebook) was superb one of the best I have had. The cakes and scones were delicious. Would highly recommend.

Such a nice cosy place to have a meal, chit chat with friends or drag my boyfriend too! Food was scrumptious but its more the location and the building itself that's just terrific!

After a long walk with the dog at Rowney Warren we went to find the tea rooms. We were not disappointed. A very pretty village and a beautiful setting for a cup of tea. They welcome dogs in the garden and provide water bowls and a passing pat! Inside it's very nostalgic and beautifully done. My husband enjoyed his cherry... More

we visited on a sunny Thursday lunchtime. The entrance through the garden was delightful. The tea room itself is a quaint, cosy space with beautiful vintage bone china. We were swiftly greeted with a very pleasant waitress who seated us at our table. She took our drinks order whilst we browsed the menu. They have a fantastic selection of drinks... More

We have visited this lovely place from time to time over the years. The garden is a great spot for a leisurely lunch or tea and the inside of the cottage is equally charming. We appreciated that they looked terribly busy when we arrived but we found a table inside, chose what we wanted and ordered at the counter. We... More

I am always impressed with Southill Tea Rooms having been on a number of occasions. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Both the breakfasts and the afternoon tea are always good quality and good value. There is a lovely garden out the front and on a couple of weekend mornings we've used Southill as our breakfast stop on our... More
