I have been here numerous times in the past few weeks after a friends recommendation. The tearoom has a lovely country kitchen feel with proper table clothes and China cups and saucers. The service is always efficient and friendly. There is plently to choose from such as sandwiches, bacon/sausage/egg cobs, jacket potatoes, soups, toasted teacakes, toast, scones and cakes. As... What a great little tea room set in the lovely Befordshire countryside . Food is very good, large selection of hot and cold items. Cakes' and scones are too die for!! Service and staff are extremely friendly.

Booked a table for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. Even on a miserable, damp November day the place was packed. Friendly, efficient staff served a delicious afternoon tea consisting of sandwiches, scones and little cakes, washed down with copious amounts of tea. Everything was very fresh and beautifully presented. Make sure to book ahead, particularly if you want the... More

Thoroughly enjoyed taking my friend here. We had tea and cheese scones with soft cheese and onion chutney which was delicious. The menu is well thought out with dishes big enough for lunch and others small enough for a high tea. It's not trying to be anything other than a tea room with a small shop full of unusual goodies.... More

I'd selfishly like to say not to visit this wonderful example of how to do things right so I can always be assured of being able to get in. I can't however ever find anything negative to say. Yesterday's visit was no exception. My cherry & almond scone was to die for, service was excellent & always with a smile.... More

Great place for breakfast lunch or afternoon tea. Something for everyone. I especially like breakfast as hearty-but afternoon tea also very yummy-although pre-book to avoid disappointment. Beautiful ornaments mot of which are for sale. Outdoor seating in summer lovely-very tranquil and quite calm. Staff so welcoming and attentive.

Our running club comes here for coffee and cake runs a couple of times per year. With a big group the weather needs to be good so you can sit outside. It was busy on our visit, service was good and the food as ever was very good. Will keep on coming to the unique location and the nice cake.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon in September and sat outside for tea and cake. The cakes were very nice and the tea is served in China cups which is nice. The place was busy with lots of people coming and going. The garden was nice to sit in and this is a lovely place to pass the afternoon. Will... More
