Went inside hoping for a good ambiance but was met with Chaupati style service where the waiter is shouting about food and all. You will get turned off by the restaurant entrance itself and the seating and total atmosphere bums you out. Its good for localities no way good for Tourist.

I don't know how this place gets good Lonely Planet reviews. It looks nice but so many people, I've spoken too have had stomach upsets, even from vegetarian dishes. I ordered a fried fish which was so over cooked, I might as well have taken it to the cremation grounds.

Very disappointed with the food at Peace Restaurant. We had veg pakora (hard and crispy and consisted of just onions and cabbage) aloo gobi wasn't tasty, the rice was waterlogged, the roti undercooked and the fish dopiaza that was recommended in the guide book didn't taste of fish at all.

Popular with western and Indian Touists alike the Peace Garden serves an extensive menu that caters to all tastes. The value for money is there being an inexpensive restaurant. The Thali's are an excellent inexpensive choice for lunch and are wonderful. The seafood is cooked to perfection, the cook seems to be very well experienced with seafood. The service I... More

Peace Restaurant looks unassuming from the gated outside. You walk into a long garden with a long thatched shelter to one side, and tables within. The setting is thus nice, as there are no walls, a few shrubs, and the depth of the restaurant means you're removed from the noise and bustle of the main road outside. Menu is extensive... More

A normal restaurant with normal food quality. Too slow service. Price is high comparing to its food quality.

Family restaurant, that serves pure veg food. High on hygiene. Whether it is a breakfast or a lunch/ dinner, the spread of menu is great. Nice place to drop by should you want to try out a veg meal

This is amazing place, though very simple and modest. Here you can find great vegetarian dishes. The open air restaurant, so the smells of non veg food do not disturb. Try Cheese Veg Friend Rice, the best one. Also they know how to cook pancakes without eggs. Always smiling manager Bellu and happy Bellu little helper Raja for sure will... More

Its closed. We were there for 3 days and went to Peace a couple of times but found it to be closed always. No better option nearby.
