A local classic

My brother (who now lives in Fairfield) introduced me to Cinci chilli and I was immediately hooked. So I could hardly let a visit to Ohio pass by without visiting a Skyline establishment. it's a seat yourself, fast food style place but my server, Nancy, was lovely (very friendy and polite). Cincinnati Chili is regional and if you are new or just passing through the area, try it. The locals know and love their chocolate, cinnamon spiced finely ground hamburger based chili always served on top of pasta topped with mounds of finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Of all the chains, Skyline does it best. Short menu, quick friendly service, and... More

We like it a lot. This our go to place when we are out late and there's no food at home or we are in a hurry or just when we want to have their fabulous chili again. At first I thought that the buns were too soft but I just love it... The 3 or 4-way, the Coneys and... More

My first experience with Cincinnati Chili - probably my last as well. We were in Cincinnati and I felt like I had to give it a try, so my husband and I went to Skyline to check it out. I ordered a small 4-way with onions (so spaghetti, chili, onions, cheese) and one coney (hot dog, chili, onions, mustard and... More

I'll start by saying that I am not a huge fan of Skyline Chili, but my family is. So when we stopped here, I was pleasantly surprised that I could order a burrito and my daughter-in law had a HUGE stuffed baked potato. The service was excellent. We had a 2 year old with us that was spoiled by our... More

I went here with a business group. We normally just eat in a simple catered lunch of sandwiches and chips, but our hosts insisted that we all go out to Skyline Chili and I am certainly glad they did. Pros only needed here. Pros: 1. Obviously the main reason this place is so popular is the food. It is simple... More

I've had great Cinci chili and selected this Skyline based on reviews. Had dry inverted 4 way and a coney..... Spaghetti was warm, not hot and the food was average at best. The coney wasn't like the coneys I get in Detroit. This feels like a place that had unique destination and food appeal and got franchised. The food isn't... More

Skyline Chili was started by a couple of Greek brothers and they have added their own take on the spices and flavours in the chili - so it is unique. Order a 3-way (spaghetti, chili and cheese) or go for a 4 or 5 way (adding diced onions and/or beans). My favourite is a "3-way, dry and inverted" i.e. dry... More

There are lots of Skyline Chili parlors in Southwest Ohio, but our favorite is the one in Fairfield on Dixie Highway. As always, great chili but this one has friendly staff and is very popular with area folks.
