We ate at this restaurant several years ago and left not at all impressed. My sister in law recommended a return, so we did. The atmosphere here gives u a true feeling of Peru. Our waitress was attentive to our needs. The food was excellent and the house made hot sauce is one of the best I have ever had.... More

I have been to Peru numerous times, I've been to cevecherias, had home-cooked meals, etc. This restaurant has very typical, representative food of what you will find there, and it taste the exact same! I will tell you the portions are very large. I go here whenever I am in Fairfield. My favorites are papa a la huacaina, anticuchos. I... More

Unique food; authentic Peruvian cusine; I was first introduced to this restaurant at their older location in Springdale; I think there was more attention to detail of the food there but upon last visit everything is as it was; most delicious; generious portions; Inca Cola is great! Several Peruvian beers I believe and plenty of domestic other other imports! Seems... More

I was impressed to find such an authentic Peruvian restaurant in this area. The food is expertly made and is just like the food you find in Peru. I ordered the jalea, which is a heaping mountain of deep fried squid, baby octopus, fish, yuca, with a side dressing of refreshing red onions and cilantro in lemon juice. Whoever works... More

This restaurant is amazing. The Ceviche is one of the best I've ever tried. I love the fried pork with red raw onions. If you are in the area go and try it!

A few people I work with have reccomended this restaurant to me, and the reviews on here seemed pretty decent, so one night the wife and I gathered up our son and went to check it out. I think we would have been better off staying home and having some stale crackers because at least then we wouldn't have had... More

We were touring Cincinnati with our grandson and he wanted to take us to this restaurant as he had eaten there before. We were slightly skeptical but highly enjoyed our selections. The stuffed potato appetizer is awesome as is the fresh onion relish served with it. I had a deep fried tilapia that I consider to be one of the... More

This was our first time having Peruvian cuisine, and we really enjoyed it! The Bisteck A Lo Pobre is so delicious! And the insanely good green hot sauce is amazing! We both had the Chicha Morada as our drinks. Very tasty beverage, but also very sweet. I can't wait for us to return so I can try the Jalea(Peruvian fried... More

After reviewing a peruvian restaurant in Chicago that I went to with some friends, I had to review this restaurant where I am not living. It is superb, awesome, and delicious. My best friends are peruvians, and I have eaten at many places that serve peruvian food. Out of Chicago, Ohio, and Puerto Rico- this one is the best. The... More

We visited Sabor Peruano for lunch with a few co-workers from P&G earlier this month; I wanted to give this place a 2nd try after having a not so nice experience here a few months back. This time I brought a few collegues that are from our offices in Lima to experience the Incan cuisine for themselves and get their... More
