We've been going to Hamburger Inn for years and it's a fixture in our eating-out map. The food is great, though the hamburgers aren't necessarily the best thing on the menu; the daily specials are often a bigger winner, and the breakfast items, available all day, are incredible. The piece de resistance is, of course, the homemade cinnamon roll, prepared... More

If you try nothing else here, try the Buckeye Shake! Yummy chocolately goodness sprinkled throughout with peanut butter and topped with rich and creamy whipped topping- so decadent and delicious!!! And the shakes are large - if you can't finish it, you can take it to-go with you. We ate the turkey club and "the hangover". Large portions, I had... More

Great little diner with good food at the right price. Like stepping back in time. Milkshakes are superb.

Whenever I travel through Delaware I eat here. The burgers are still great. Do not pay attention to the naysayers. The fries are excellent and the pies are superb. All at a reasonable price. I recommend this place.

This place is a very cool and retro diner. The seating is three giant u shaped bars, so you will be sitting next to people you may not know, but they all seemed friendly. Staff was all nice and attentive and reminded me of the show Mel's dinner, only with a younger staff. I ordered a 1/4 hamburger with fries... More

I absolutely love this place. It's a fun retro throwback of the 1950's diner. They have a fantastic breakfast menu that is so reasonably priced. The burgers are massive and delicious. A huge menu and great prices. A must in delaware!

This is your classic "greasy spoon" restaurant. Burgers, fries, chicken and breakfast menu at any time of the day. If it is on the menu and they are open, the are serving anything on the menu. Food is good quality, not cheap by-products. An above average 1/4 pound hamburger with fries and a soda will run you $9. The atmosphere... More

I started eating here years ago because of the prices. I used to get the biscuits and gravy and a huge chocolate shake made in one of those old machines that gave you about two and a half glasses of shake. They put the whole blender on the counter for you. My brother from out of state was amazed at... More

Went recently on Saturday for lunch. The walls have been painted, bathrooms remodeled, and they are now serving beer! The food was still amazing and the service was the best I've had there. They now have one person that runs the cash register so you don't have to wait on the servers to pay. Everything just looked cleaner and brighter,... More
