It is nice to have a for real chef creating master pieces! Great staff and fun atmosphere. Tiny complaint...some of their seats are like a booth, but they sink down and are pretty uncomfortable. Ask for a chair if you have a bad back.

Located in a restored area of downtown. The food and service are top quality. I also had an occasion to ask the owner to prepare a special shrimp dish to take to my wife in the hospital at that time. Needless to say she was delighted!

My wife an I have eaten at this resturant on several occasions. The food and service is always very good. The atmosphere is old pub style with a bar/eating area and a seperate dining area away from the noise of the bar. There is an additional dining area for overflow or larger groups. The pricing is higher than some, but... More

The food is excellent, a bit pricy but a rarity in a small town to have such a nice restaurant. The filet medallions and 10 oz sirloin are excellent.

We had a delightful lunch at the 1808 American Bistro. I had eaten dinner there a couple years ago and I think that they have improved the ambiance. Everything was very nice and the service was very good. We each had a cup of seafood gumbo and a sandwich, BLT and chicken panini. We agreed that everything was great. This... More

The chef is from New Orleans.....try the beignets! A charming place with delicious food. They have a seasonal menu that features a local flair. Loved the special salad with heirloom tomatoes they had in the summer...hoping they bring that back. Salmon is tasty too!

Have been here several times, and keep returning for the wonderful craft beer selection, friendly staff, and even better food. Have tried several menu items on our visits, and every one has exceeded expectations. We like the variety, they add new menu items regularly and have evening specials as well. Have had some wonderful and innovative soups, great salads, nice... More
