Wide variety of interesting dishes with shrimp and grits my favorite. I eat here on a regular basis and have yet to be disappointed. Sometimes the service is a little slow. The beer selection is very good. Always great service for those seated at the bar.

We have been here many times. The food is always presented nicely and is tasty. The beers r always cold and they have a large section. The wait staff is ftiendly and professional.

This review is very difficult for me to share, because I frequent many well-rated restaurants based on Trip Advisor reviews. I like to add to those positive reviews by providing my feedback. However, the experience at 1808 American Bistro in Delaware, OH was dismal. Service was very slow on a weekday evening (7:00 PM) and the waitstaff server had little... More

The owner steals his recipes from other restaurants in Chicago, Cleveland etc. He has also stolen his drink menus. His wine is laughable. Get a Vivino app and scan one of the bottles he has on display in the little coffins by the front door. The app will give you the average price of the bottle. It is customary to... More

Menu is upscale. They don't serve bread with the meal. I don't even think you can order it. Not a plus for someone who likes bread with their meal. the food is good

I used to like coming to this restaurant. I would bring clients from this area because it was newer. However, over the last year, or so, it has steadily declined. Food has become predictable. The chef has lost whatever creativity he may have had. It's time for a new chef and new life! Hurry before it's too late!

It town for work and we were looking for a new spot to eat lunch and we found a pretty good spot. 1808 has a great atmosphere. Very much has an older bistro feel with decor and layout. Very clean and relaxing. Service was excellent and food was great. Portions were very large. I had the turkey blt and it... More

Everything was delicious. Service was fast and efficient! We were traveling through and found this gem on my phone. Thought we wouldn't be dressed nice enough but atmosphere was relaxed while food was upscale.
