Great little secret

This was the first time that I had been to 1808. I'd have to say that I'll go back quite often. First of all, they have a fantastic selection of draft beers. I like that they have a number of local brewers on tap. The menu was OK, not the best. My meal was great, but my fiance had a... read more

This restaurant never disappoints. We have been coming here for many years and just made it here for Brunch. Highly recommend. The menu is perfect with something for everyone wanting breakfast or lunch. Both sweet and savory dishes. Endless Bloody Mary, greyhound, bellini

We've gone to 1808 several times in the last couple of years, but this last visit on a Friday night, was not great. The server never asked about refilling our drink order, and never asked about appetizers. When the food arrived (and it took over 30 minutes), all of our dishes in our party of four were "luke warm." I've... More

A great family or date night restaurant. The fit for foodies menu ranges from Korean fried chicken and shrimp and grits to the finest of aged steaks. The wine list is excellent but the jewels of the bar are any one of the 46 craft beers on tap. This is truly a beer lovers paradise!

Anyone writing a positive review on this restaurant needs to find an addiction counselor to get over their addiction to syrupy balsamic vinegar reduction. Quit drowning everything in it. Also, possibly hire a chef who isn't a hack and works within his skill range (he seems perfectly qualified for McDonald's). Other then that he does make a good grilled cheese... More

No need to go to Polaris. This place is great. My wife, friends and I eat here a few times a year. Great food, great craft beer selection and well worth the visit. Great place!!!

My daughter and I popped in at 7:30 on a sat night for dinner, without reservations. The wait was maybe 20 minutes. Menu had everything ... We had cauliflower app, salads and steak entrees. All very good. Total with wine maybe $90. Very nice place, crowd was a little older and "well- heeled" as they say. Not a college scene.... More

This is a great spot for a date, special occasion or a nice family dinner, although wouldn't recommend it for very young children as they'd be bored and other diners would be too close for comfort for restless children. The food and prices are at the high end of offerings in Delaware. Nice lighting and decor creates an upscale pub... More

We had our valentine's day dinner here this year, it was great! There are not huge portions, which is good when you are having a glass of wine, and want to try desserts. The meal had a ton of flavor and had a great atmosphere.
