We filled up on appetizers. Fried mushrooms were good; nacho chips with fresh spinach great; very good cole slaw; the tossed salad was just OK. It was a little hard to find. You go down some dark stairs into the basement of an old warehouse. Old brick walls - felt like you were walking back in time.

It had been several years since we visited Coshocton and Roscoe Village so decided to make the drive last Sunday. First stop was lunch so we landed on the patio at Lock 27. It was a beautiful day to be outside and many of the tables were filled. However, for Sunday lunch, I would have expected more than one wait... More

I spent a couple hours at The Warehouse Steak n Stein watching the balloons from the Coshocton Ohio Balloon Festival float over the patio. I ordered dinner and a drink during my time there as well. The food was pretty decent especially the onion rings and my walleye. Though both were a little greasy, they were good. My drink looked... More

I don't know the process, but the deep fried shrimp is the best I have ever had. Crunchy, and very good on the Walleye also.

My Parents and I ate here on a recent visit to our family farm. Portions were very good, we did not leave hungry. Service was fair, but could have been a little more attentive. We were looking for our drinks to be refilled several times. Our waitress was good, kind, and courteous, I just would have liked to have seen... More

Had a late supper at the Warehouse, Steak & Stein, upstairs from Lock 27. The meal was wonderful! The ribs were great! My wife had a fantastic deep fried pork sandwich. However, the star of our meal was the appetizer. We split the spinach, artichoke queso cheese dip. This stuff was out of this world! We almost fought over the... More

Lock 27 is in the basement of the Warehouse Steak 'n Stein in Historic Roscoe Village, Coshocton Ohio. This building is the original warehouse for this settlement which was one of the stop overs for the Erie Canal system running from Cleveland to Portsmouth Ohio. The menu is the same for both dining rooms and the food and service are... More

We ate here during the Apple Butter Festival. The weather had turned cold and rainy so it wasn't crowded which was good for us. We started with their pumpkin soup that the waitress recommended and said they only have during the festival! It was delicious - just like liquid pumpkin pie!! It was like starting the meal with dessert -... More

The three if us went for lunch, two had the hamburger platter and one had the chicken sandwich platter. Food tasted great. As crowded as it was our meals were served hot and prompt. Drinks were served in the large glasses, didn't have to worry about going dry. Atmosphere was nice, seated quickly, reasonable prices. We plan on returning.
