Beautiful pastery...not really a "restaurant"

Wonderfully perfect merangues, tortes, pastry, cookies, candies. Tasty and beautiful for special occasions. There are tables, both inside and outside. You can enjoy the goodies there or take home in lovely packaging. They do serve quiche, croque monseur and madaam and a few other... read more

Wonderfully perfect merangues, tortes, pastry, cookies, candies. Tasty and beautiful for special occasions. There are tables, both inside and outside. You can enjoy the goodies there or take home in lovely packaging. They do serve quiche, croque monseur and madaam and a few other breakfast/brunch type dishes. I would not consider this a restaurant and certainly not the best restaurant... More

They have amazing baked goods and have a nice little brunch movie. I had the quiche which was excellent and the macarons are a must!

After a heavy dinner at Schmidts, my MIL wanted to take us into this quaint, European-style bakery. She bought us "the bombe" and I purchased some macarons, for myself. We also took home a mini-bombe for my nephew...a true chocolate lover. He inhaled most of it after his birthday dinner. Beautiful inside and out...a must-stop if you are in German... More

boy are these things sooo good! Voted one of the best in the world? Yes they are! What a nice variety of flavors that just melt in your mouth. You are a fool if you don't get a box to take home. Yummy!

Macarons are one of my favorite treats. Pistacia Vera has pretty decent prices for macarons and taste so much better than other options in Columbus! I haven't tried a lot of their other options as they seem very overpriced. Parking can be tricky in the area on busy days.

The presentation of bakery items at this booth in the North Market was beautiful. I thought to myself - probably beautiful pastry with little taste - as I have encountered so many times in the past. This place is the exception. I ordered the "Cherry Chocolate Feuilletine" I bought (2) mini cakes which contain "Pistachio chocolate feuilletine crust - topped... More

Very cute and bright coffee shop in the German village. The coffee was pretty good, but the macarons were really mediocre. For $1.50 each I'd expect much better. Nice to stop in on a cold day, but get your treats somewhere else.

This is my go-to place for brunch or lunch with clients. Always clean, service always friendly and quick, the food always spot-on. The quiche is delicious, and the pastries (especially the macaroons) are wonderful. The only negatives: they don't have the baked eggs with tomatoes any longer (loved that dish); the croissants can be a mess to eat (very flakey... More

I so wanted this to be a five of five experience! The coffee, supplied by Brioso, was top notch. The French style pastries were beautifully presented with good attention to visual detail. We tried three offerings: an apple tart, two flavours of macaron and a cherry pistachio feuilletine. My friends were happy with their choices. My macarons had good texture,... More

I'm usually a big fan of coffee and desserts but I have been here 3 times now (and the German village one and the one at North Market) and I am simply done. The food is expensive and, for all the effort into the appearance of it, simply not worth it. The croissants were dry and disappointing, the apple tart... More
