Description: Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Our new extended Happy Hour includes Sunday 11 am - 6 pm and Saturday 11 am - 6 pm. We continue to include great offerings M-F 3pm - 7 pm though! Catering is also an option, our staff are adept at delivering a professional, hassle-free and delicious meal. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.

We stopped in after shopping at the mall for lunch around 2:30 p.m. Our server, Makayla, was very pleasant. She talked us into getting the Chile Con Queso which was great with the thin warm chips. Local beers were available on tap for a reasonable price ($4.79.) The Tilapia Veracruz Lunch was very good as well as the Lunch Chimichanga.... More

A visit here for a quick meal before a movie at AMC Easton Town Centre turned out to be a fun happy hour experience! Drink prices were very reasonable and house margaritas were actually delicious ! Chips and salsa were complimentary and good as well! We ordered the beef nachos and were a little disappointed in the size and presentation... More

I love prime rib ... so when it was advertised available on a Wednesday night ... we simply had to go ... because I really like prime rib. The décor is amazing and the food was pretty good ... but you could tell the employer cared more about his building than the employees. We sat at the bar and the... More

We're so disappointed to hear that you didn't receive the best customer service possible. We are capable of much more than that and I'd like to offer my sincerest apologies if you received anything less -- and I will definitely follow up with my team on this. That said, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed our prime rib so much!... More

The wait for service and our food was looooooooong despite the fact that we didn't have a wait to be seated. Prices were a bit high and the quality of the food was mediocre. Probably won't be back anytime soon.

We'd like to offer our sincerest apologies if your service was too slow -- we can assure you that we are better than that. Hopefully, you'll give us another chance sometime to show you what we're really capable of with both our customer service and... More

I'd heard positive things, and while traveling on business some co-workers and I went to Abuelo's for dinner. Slow, inattentive service, no "sell" of specials, drink offers, etc. Food was a little funky, one had the 'house special' bacon-wrapped beef medallions and shrimp. One piece of meat was gray, the other nearly raw. Took 15 minutes to get refills on... More

There's nothing more disappointing than high expectations not being met -- and when you're disappointed, we're disappointed. We're better than that, and you deserve better than that. I hope one day you will give us a second chance to show you what we're truly capable of. Best, Seidale, GM More

We were in town from Toledo and heard they had an Abuelo's in Columbus. We of course had to go! The food was great, our server was good about keeping drinks full, and it wasn't expensive. One of pur favorite places. I highly recommend.

Normally the food is five star, this time it was 3.5-4 star. Tried the burger, it was tasty but luke warm when served, just not the quality we normally receive. The service was excellent and the cost for two lunch menu dinners was under $25. Had we been informed of the Prime rib "special" when seated I would have ordered... More

We are happy to see that you usually enjoy a five-star experience from us both in food quality and customer service! However, we're sorry that you weren't informed of the evening's special when you were seated. Thanks for giving us this feedback so we can continue to improve our customers' experiences! Everyone in my family liked their food-both in look and taste. I really liked the variety of salsas that came at the beginning of the meal. I found the computer kiosk on the table a bit odd but helpful. We'd go back if we are craving Mexican during an easton shopping trip.

Definitely an upscale flavor to the hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants we regularly frequent (that are excellent, by the way). The chips were very good, but sauces were not to my liking (very subjective, I realize). Good selection, and food was very good. Staff seemed to be a bit stretched.

While I'm pleased that the food was very good, I'm sorry to hear you weren't a fan of our salsas! I wish I knew why they didn't suit your taste, but maybe that's a conversation we can have next time if you ever make it back to our neck of the woods. Thanks for letting me know that the waitstaff... More

We visited Abuelo's for a birthday dinner during a weekday. The service was quite good. We enjoyed mainly entrees and some of us enjoyed their frozen adult beverages. It was a very pleasant experience for all of us; which included different age groups.
