Awesome Italian

We love Lolas italian onion soup! I always get whatever fish is her special…cannot go wrong! Great wine selection and desserts are to die for! He always gets a bowl of rigatoni or her lasagna. Consistently homey and relaxing to eat there. Small, but cozy. We are devotees!

A nice little local family restaurant. I would not have found it but for the TA reviews. It lives up to the reviews. The soups, Italian Wedding and the Onion Soup, were outstanding. One of the best Onion Soups, ever! I had the Braised Beef Canneloni - outstanding winter comfort food. I will definitely come back the next time I... More

Found this place through TA, and the recommendations were right! The food was wonderful, big portions you'd expect from a family Italian restaurant, but without the high price of a swanky downtown place. The owners walked around checking on guests, some of whom were clearly close friends. Overall just a cozy little place with great food. We spent the whole... More

Just glanced at the other reviews and there is nothing else to add. I can only confirm that the food is amazing, service amazing, the owners are in the restaurant...it's just fantastic. The chicken parmigiana and baked rigatoni are to die for!!! Even the travel of taking them home to eat doesn't change anything...they're excellent. If I could change one... More

You must try the onion soup! This is not your typical french onion soup, it is an awesome, rich, carmelized broth of top secret goodness. My waitress would not divulge any ingredients or cooking techniques of this delicious dish. I tried to order a second bowl but they ran out. Lola and Guiseppe's is a cute, literally mom and pop,... This small eclectic restaurant is worth the visit. The food is excellent here, true Italian. The Sicilian onion soup was so delicious, I almost forgot my manners and slurped the bowl. Been here prior on my visits to columbus, and will continue to patronize. Hidden back in a small shopping area, but worth the find.

This little place in Gahanna is amazing. Lola and Guiseppe are awesome hosts and cooks. Been here multiple times and it is always great. Everything is homemade and delicious. This is not italian food from a chain, this is made with love and passion for cooking. My wife and I both highly recommend this place.

I love the Italian food in Providence and Boston but this restaurant rivals the best of those cities. We had the basics (ceasar salads, fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs) but they were outstanding. Giuseppe's meatballs were great. The canoli and cheesecake made by Lola were excellent as well. The waiting area is tiny and there may be a wait... More

Everything made from scratch! Amazing flavor and quality. Setting is an old house with individual rooms. Only seats 42, but very cozy. Lola is hands on, coming out occasionally to talk to her guests. What a wonderful dining experience!

One of the best home style Italian restaurants anywhere! You won't be disappointed in either the food or the value. Home cooked quality that Frank Sinatra would have loved! Quaint, cozy & the perfect place for a 'date" with your wife or significant other. (Momma Lola will chaperon of course) The wedding soup is awesome & the lasagna is better... More
