Everything homemade and delicious. Lola treats all her guests like family. Veggie lasagna is one of my favorites.

This place has fantastic Italian food. I can't think of a better restaurant. Everything is homemade. To start our meal, we split Lola's entrée salad, which was delicious and more than enough for two. It had greens, candied pears, cranberries, and gorgonzola with a homemade dressing. It's an amazing combination. For my entree, I had the baked ziti with roasted... More

Staying in Gahanna for a friend's daughter's graduation, I found Lola's on Trip Advisor. Excellent. We had nibbled on cheese & wine before dinner so we went straight to the entrees. Unfortunately, the Braciole was sold out...someday. I tried the Salmone, a nice serving of perfectly medium rare fish with a hint of pomegranate and balsamic. The mushroom risotto and... More

I grew up in an area known for its saturation of amazing small Italian restaurants and moved to Columbus, Ohio, where Italian generally means chain fare "big box" restaurants. As such, I really enjoyed our recent visit to Lola's. It took me home. We ordered the house chianti, an appetizer called Giuseppe’s Pasta Fritto, lasagna and eggplant parm. We were... More

Upon arrival there was no room to stand inside the tiny waiting area to wait for a table (not even to put our name on the list). So...we braved the cold and stood outside for awhile until we could squeeze inside and get a table. Figured it must be worth the wait. We're glad we did. This little trattoria has... More

We were in Columbus, OH for our daughter's volleyball tournament, and our niece attends THE Ohio State University, so we picked her up and headed over to Lola & Giuseppe's for what we hoped would be a very nice meal. And what a real treat it was! When you enter this small restaurant (seats only 42) it's like entering your... More

Very small place. I wouldn't necessarily call this a romantic place since you're very close to the other diners but the food is delicious. Try the lasagna!!

Not your typical Expensive restaurant, but let me tell you something BY FAR the BEST Italian restaurant in the Columbus area. Very cozy, very small place but worth a try… (Try the meatballs)

The service is fantastic, and the owners are always checking on the service. Very congenial. Also the food is fresh italian made with love and is always fantastic. My family and I have been traveling to Gahanna just to eat here for years. It is worth the ride, and time.
