My wife and I were visiting our granddaughter and her boyfriend at OSU. They suggested that we go to dinner and sit on the outside patio at Northstar Cafe. It was a beautiful evening and we were lucky to find a table outside. A young man by the name of Garrett helped explain the menu to us and made a... More

Heard alot about it and decided to try.one night. Had black bean salad and it was really very tasty. Lots of vegetarian options. Service was attentive and prompt. No lines as I went after 8pm. Recommended.

We came across this restaurant when at Easton Mall looking for lunch. I am thrilled we chose Northstar Cafe!! Don't miss the homemade fresh ginger ale. I ordered the chicken/avocado sandwich and it didn't disappoint. The menu stated it came with wild rice (well, ok), but it was a fabulous and interesting wild rice salad. I am in the car... More

I am not a vegetarian, but the Northstar burger was really good. It comes with a small salad and I loved the dressing too. I think it's just a bit pricy, but delicous. A friend recommended this place and I had to check it out and was happy that I did. Parking of course is still a problem like everywhere... More

This restaurant is always very good and consistent. If you like to eat healthy and/or vegetarian or vegan; this is the place. They remodeled their outside seating and it is by far the best in Columbus.

I visited Northstar when I was in Columbus to visit a pal that was in an internship there. She said "We are going to get the most amazing breakfast ever" No lie. It was amazing. Their biscuits are awesome. The jam from nearby Michigan was legendary. My eggs were perfection. And the roasted potatoes! Great value and I loved that... More

I've been here many times and it's always good food. I recently went for brunch and had a delicious sweet potato and turkey hash. It was perfect. I will say that if you go for brunch, expect to wait a little bit. But, it's worth the wait. Other great brunch items are the ricotta pancakes and their homemade biscuits and... More

Everything here is so great. My absolute favorite is the basil chicken burrito but it's all good. It's nice to eat out somewhere that you feel pretty good about afterwards too.

This cafe has great gluten free options for almost every item- there aren't any gf buns or bread but everything there tastes great! All allergies are taken very seriously, I am hyper-sensitive to the smallest amounts of gluten but always feel comfortable eating here!
