I have been traveling to Columbus for a while now and have checked out most of the eateries here. This place offer some mouth watering treats that make you want to come back for more! My personal favorite is the "Peruvian Lomo Saltado" - Their Cilantro sauce is very good. They do have quite a few items that are excellent.... More

I found the food to be excellent, but didn't have enough options for less adventurous eaters which would just make it awesome. The plantains are good, they really are, just a cool side. I found the "fajita" type dish to be brilliant, the flavors with the spanish fries were perfect together. Portions very big, price not too bad. I love... More

Super tasty arepas, just like Venezuelan home cooking! The beef filling is tender and savory, a side order of fried plantains a sweet, soft counterpoint to the seasoned meat. I always get the same thing (grew up in Venezuela eating arepas, yum) so cannot speak for the rest of the menu. Lines are long at lunchtime; at high noon it's... More

Tucked away off the main road, this place serves various Central American dishes under $15. We had fish tacos and a big burrito (it was very big) - both were very good and the portions were generous (by UK standards) and very adorable. They only open for lunch so no evening dining.

I have gone there 4 times now, the dining room is tiny, long wait, the entrees have been average at best, and the plaintians, I did not like, mushy, thick. I prefer plaintains to be crispy. Overall, too much hype, not enough good food to put up with the other negatives.

I saw this place rated 4.5 stars on another site and gave it a try. I must have gone to the wrong place! My Giant Burrito was 99% rice, .9% beans and a whisper of shredded chicken and guacamole. "Where's the Beef"? I will say that the fries are fantastic. If you like fries you'll love this place.

Just got done eating a great tasting lunch. I got the 14in Burrito with Spanish fries. Enough for two people. My wife got the Chiquita's lunch special. Wow! Spicy hot but we like it that way. Great little place for kind a change of pace from burgers and sandwiches. Will go back in a second.

Downtown Columbus is the home of this gem. Don't be surprised if you walk in and there is a wait. It is worth the wait!!! El Arepazo has a wide variety of items on their menu from a salad to empanada and a lot in between. Their plantains are delicious. The cilantro sauce is near perfect compliment to their dishes.... This was a great experience end to end! From the cocktail made with Brazillian Rum, to the ceviche appetizer, to my entree (which sadly, I cannot remember the name of, but was made with Shrimp and smashed green plantain!) to the Tres Leches dessert, it was all delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meal. I will definitely return!
