OK, first off, full disclosure. I used to live in Columbus, and had been to the Elevator (along with their competitors) a few times before. Probably at least a couple years ago in Elevator's case. But since then, I've moved up to northwestern Michigan where, it seems, you now can't swing a cat and not hit a decent brew pub.... More

Elevator Brewing Company is located downtown in an old cigar shop, and it highlights a fun twist on a brewery menu as well as boasting a beautiful interior. Menu covers all the stapes- the majority of our table ordered the filet & surf and turf. Hint: both of these are served on a hot grilling stone for you to grill... More

Good food but a bit pricey for being a pub. A good choice for when you don't want too walk far in the rain from the Marriott Courtyard, otherwise, head down to the Arena District for a better selection of restaurants and prices.

On a recent business trip to Columbus one of my colleagues who had been here previously recommended Elevator for dinner. The restaurant was relatively uncrowded at 8:30 p.m. on a Thursday evening and we were seated immediately. The space features some wonderful old architectural details, including a colorful mosaic floor, beautiful mahogany bar, and huge stained glass windows. When I... More

I sat at the bar and had the red ale and nut brown ale with the salmon. Excellent meal and great service! The environment was great.

I recently ate at the Elevator Brewery & Draught on a trip to Columbus. It was recommended by the concierge at my hotel. The restaurant is located in a renovated old movie theater, which made for a unique decor. The food was average, as was the service. The menu was nothing special and did not contain anything that was unique.

On 2/1/2014 at 7:44 PM I had my first and will be my only visit to the Elevator Brewing & Draught Haus. I had the worst service I can remember. I am 62 years old and well known for my tipping generosity but this is one of two times in my life where I did not leave a tip. It... More

We stumbled upon this place for dinner, not knowing we were walking into a well known restaurant. We had to wait over an hour for dinner, but it was well worth the wait (next time we'll make reservations). The food was an experience, my filet was cooked at my table and was a delicious meal. The waitress was outstanding and... More

Enjoyed our meal here. Stuffed sea scallops were very good. The decor was nice. It is also a micro brewery w/ many choices.

A fantastic old building (for the USA!), serving a good range of beers and food. A very popular venue, very busy on both the occasions we called in. In the evening we had a very pleasant meal, which more than filled us up. There was a wait of around half an hour for a table, but we got a seat... More
