I would say this is more for a special dining experience. The food is a little unusual but even picky me can always find something. The place, while small by some standards, is absolutely lovely and the service is impeccable. I hear they have an excellent happy hour although I have not tried that.

Had a group of 14 to entertain in Columbus and we dined at G.Michael's. The restaurant is quaint and very well done. Food is creative with many locally grown ingrediants. Our guests ordered a variety from the menu which included the special Grouper dish along with many other specials. Everything was excellently done with creative ingredients and very tasty. The... This is a great restaurant. Parking is easy, the meals are great and the service is amazing. This is one of the best restaurants in Columbus. You will have a nice mix of people, but overall the establishment is great.

My wife, daughter and I were in the Columbus area dropping off the girl for her freshman year of college. The day before moving in also happened to be her 18th birthday, so we were looking for a place to celebrate pretty much everything. I found G. Michael's over the internet by reading, TRIPADVISOR, local reviews, other website ratings, and... More

We were celebrating a Birthday and had always been pleased with G Michael's in the past. Recall it has a bar-table area, a central room with windows that looks out on the small patio, and the room in the back close to the kitchen. The kitchen is an open area so guests in that room have to put up with... More

I have never reviewed G Michael's before. This is always one of our favorite Columbus places. Very few establishments showcase the quality or creativity found here. Service always first rate. Last night I had a Rabbit Burgoo with confit Duck Leg and it was delicious. Mary had Shrimp and Grits and she loved it. We also had a special of... More

Went there with clients recently. My first trip there and as a vegetarian I was impressed with their really interesting (and delicious) options! Grilled watermelon 👍 was great (though it wasn't on their regular menu) and the vegetarian plate was a slam dunk! All the food groups and really well presented and great service! Clients loved it too! Would love... More

My wife and I had an early dinner at G. Michael's Bistro before attending a show. We have always enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaruant. We chose the Restaurant Week menu. Each of had the BLT salad wedge of romaine. It was a generous salad with bacon crumbles and blue cheese and tomatoes. The homemade green goddess dressing really... More

We were visiting our daughter in Columbus and she suggested we eat here. Fabulous. The PEI mussels were to die for and make sure to get plenty of house bread. You won't be disappointed. A meal by itself. I had the Sockeye salmon, my daughter the trout and wife had the scallops. Hard to describe besides don't miss this place... More
