I was over in Ohio for a couple of weeks with my girlfriend. During the stay it was her 25th Birthday. Before I travelled I pre-booked G Michael's because it was well reviewed and looked like a great place to eat. It so happened to be restaurant week in Columbus when we arrived. As a result our decision on what... More

We took a group of 25 customers to G. Michaels, it might as well have been a dinner for two by how they handled the group! The service was outstanding; quick, efficient and personal. I’m sorry, but I cannot remember the waitress’s name, but she took everybody’s drink order without writing anything down, and remember it all! From appetizers, to... More

Visited on a Sunday afternoon just after opening. Restaurant was quiet and nice. Started with a tasty Vichysoise with a plate of Morel mushrooms as a side attraction. Soup was excellent as were the Morels. Went on to entrée of seared yellow fin tuna, halibut and softshell crab. Everything was perfectly prepared and served. The softshell crab were coated in... Really good foood, great service. Cozy, never a bad meal. A little pricey, but worth it. Valet parking makes it easy.

Three of us had a mid-week dinner reservation and since the weather was pleasant opted to eat on the patio which lacks the ambiance and style of the interior dining spaces. Started our meals with the house salad and two cold soup selections - gazpacho and vichyssoise - which are not regular menu selections. Satisfying and tasty. Our entrees consisted... More

Based on the fantastic reviews here and elsewhere, I was prepared for a gastronomic tour de force. I didn't get one. It was OK. Good. Not fantastic. Based on my comparatively disappointing visit, there are many other better choices in Columbus. Service was very good and the restaurant is attractive.

We were snooping around Columbus looking for somewhere interesting to stop for to share a light lunch and a bottle of wine and sit at a nice bar. We chose this place with no prior knowledge or information. The bartender was super helpful with the menu and the wine pairing. We had shrimp and grits and enjoyed it tremendously. I... More

Amazing food for happy hour prices. From 4:00 to 7:00 during the week they offer small plates for around 6$ each. Shrimp and grits, duck sausage, mussels, calamari, duck pot pie, I could go on. The menu changes, but the shrimp and grits are always available, and for me they are a meal. The bread is served with herbed butter,... More

First time here, as we wanted to expand our German Village options. Sat outside on a lovely night, very cute outdoor area. Nice waiter, apologetic when he messed up an order. Starter and salad both tasty and satisfying . Entrée also very good but not as much so. I ordered the filet, and it was enjoyable but not amazing. A... More
