Description: Anand and Doris Saha, the creators of Mozart’s, met in Switzerland in 1989. Anand studied Hotel Management while Doris completed her training as a professional pastry Chef. When the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio arose in 1995, the couple risked everything they had to open their own bakery and make Columbus their home. After struggling for the first few months, they soon found themselves the creators of perhaps the best pastry shop in the city. With the generous support of the Columbus community, Mozart’s has grown famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that could not be found anywhere else.

We had afternoon tea here. Everything was wonderful: the scones with Devonshire cream, the canapés (an assortment of small sandwiches), and the dessert (a tea cookie, a chocolate petit four and a marzipan peach). The afternoon tea is a wonderful opportunity to sample many different foods. Everything was fresh and delicious, and with live piano music in the background it... More

Had a family dinner here mid-July, very impressed. The food was excellent and VERY reasonably priced compared to what I pay in Colorado. It's Austrian-style. Loved the Weinerschnitzel, the Stroganoff was outstanding, and the Hungarian Goulasch superb. We listened to live jazz trumpet and piano while we dined. There is an extensive selection of confections and desserts with cafe seating... More

I love this restaurant, delicious food, where they get their meats locally, this family and all they do for the community, the atmosphere, kid friendly OR romantic evening, the music, the piano player, the service-they treat everyone like royalty and it's an extremely good price. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE INCREDIBLE PASTRY SECTION FUN FUN FUN

Pastries/cakes set a standard hard to match. but Also delicious: • best wild mushroom soup - ever! • vegetarian strudel - addicting! Great food and lovely live music in a unique establishment with the relaxed elegance of fine dining, European/Columbus style. Enjoy !

What a great dinner! The appetizer special was SO delicious. Our main courses were also delicious. The quiche was a nice choice for a light dinner. Desserts - to die for!!! We were entertained with piano music during our meal. That was a very nice touch.

I had looked forward to dining at Mozart's for a very long time. Enticed by the name "MOZART'S"--and loving all things related to the great composer--I walked through the door very excited and full of anticipation. I had enjoyed Mozart's pastries via US mail a couple of Christmases ago. I signed onto their email listing and followed events, new food... More

I was in Columbus, Ohio visiting my daughter when she suggested we go to Mozart's for tortes and coffee in Clintonville.. The pianist was playing "Sonata for Piano No. 11 in A major" and we sat by the window facing High Street. There were four of us and each of us ordered a different slice of Torte and coffee. The... Our book club met in a back room so we could discuss the book where everyone could hear. The Mozart people were lovely to organize a perfect place for us. The mushroom salad I had was delectable. Everyone enjoyed their lunches. Mozart's is not cheap, but the quality of the food makes it worth the price. Our waiter was attentive... More
