Description: Anand and Doris Saha, the creators of Mozart's, met in Switzerland in 1989. Anand studied Hotel Management while Doris completed her training as a professional pastry Chef. When the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio arose in 1995, the couple risked everything they had to open their own bakery and make Columbus their home. After struggling for the first few months, they soon found themselves the creators of perhaps the best pastry shop in the city. With the generous support of the Columbus community, Mozart's has grown famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that could not be found anywhere else.

Mozart's has the most amazing array of pastries and desserts to go with its unique and eclectic main menu. In addition to the fine food and relaxing ambiance, the service is excellent. It's a wonderful place to dine.

I stopped w/ a friend for breakfast around 9:30 am. It was very quiet, only two other tables & us, but service was not that great. Omelet was large, but not all that tasty. Ho hum! Bakery case looked wonderful, but rather pricey.

We've been here twice in the new location over the past couple of months, once for a concert and once for the Oktoberfest menu. We like the food--very good German/Austria menu. The Oktoberfest menu was very good--my only cavieat is that I am used to my sauerbraten being slightly more sour--it could have used a touch more vinager. The desserts,... More

The pastry case is beautiful, really special. The coffee and food are quite good. But there's a critical flaw in this experience, it's the ambiance, especially in the dining area. This place needs hardwood floors to help with the acoustics and some actual art. I was in Vienna this summer - it's so beautiful, any novice/uncopyrighted photograph of Vienna would... More

Thank you for your comments, Klaudia. In 2012, my wife Doris and I purchased the historic neighborhood building that is now home to Mozart's. It was important for us to restore many of the building's original features, including the marble terrazzo floors and archways that give the space its distinct character. We worked extensively with our architect to marry these... More

Went here for brunch at 10AM. We were one of four tables in the restaurant and still barely got served. Our coffee cups were often completely empty by the time we good flag the waiter over and request more. The salmon, spinach, and cream cheese omelet was okay. The veggie quiche was overlooked and had very little flavor. We would... More

Grown up venue worthy of dressing up, yet activities for children allowed us to have a peaceful, enjoyable meal. Delicious, well prepared food in a beautiful setting. Clean. Varied menu for all tastes. Ambience with live piano music. The gentleman played tunes from Frozen, Summer of 42, Clare DeLune, etc. Large table in sunny location set up for Lego Play... More

We had afternoon tea here. Everything was wonderful: the scones with Devonshire cream, the canapés (an assortment of small sandwiches), and the dessert (a tea cookie, a chocolate petit four and a marzipan peach). The afternoon tea is a wonderful opportunity to sample many different foods. Everything was fresh and delicious, and with live piano music in the background it... More

Had a family dinner here mid-July, very impressed. The food was excellent and VERY reasonably priced compared to what I pay in Colorado. It's Austrian-style. Loved the Weinerschnitzel, the Stroganoff was outstanding, and the Hungarian Goulasch superb. We listened to live jazz trumpet and piano while we dined. There is an extensive selection of confections and desserts with cafe seating... More

I love this restaurant, delicious food, where they get their meats locally, this family and all they do for the community, the atmosphere, kid friendly OR romantic evening, the music, the piano player, the service-they treat everyone like royalty and it's an extremely good price. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE INCREDIBLE PASTRY SECTION FUN FUN FUN
