Description: Anand and Doris Saha, the creators of Mozart’s, met in Switzerland in 1989. Anand studied Hotel Management while Doris completed her training as a professional pastry Chef. When the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio arose in 1995, the couple risked everything they had to open their own bakery and make Columbus their home. After struggling for the first few months, they soon found themselves the creators of perhaps the best pastry shop in the city. With the generous support of the Columbus community, Mozart’s has grown famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that could not be found anywhere else.

I was in Columbus, Ohio visiting my daughter when she suggested we go to Mozart's for tortes and coffee in Clintonville.. The pianist was playing "Sonata for Piano No. 11 in A major" and we sat by the window facing High Street. There were four of us and each of us ordered a different slice of Torte and coffee. The... I was in there for the very first time, on a Sunday morning. The coffee is very good, the food is gourmet and wonderful. Our server was prompt with refills, and I enjoyed dining in a historic old building in Clintonville. I had dined there years ago when I was a little girl.

I recently hosted a champagne high tea bridal shower at Mozart's for my niece. I coordinated the entire thing from out of state via phone and email and had only visited the venue once for a few minutes. The owner and staff could not have done a better job. The room was beautifully decorated, the three courses of food were... More

Awesome place - my husband and I stopped in for dinner, and we just had such a great time. The owner was walking around the dining room the whole time, making sure guests were happy, and helping out when it got busy. When he stopped by our table, we found out that this new location only opened this past summer!... More

We stopped in to Mozarts after reading about it on Tripadvisor. Sooo glad we did! Not only is this a quaint little cafe, it's also a delightful little bakery! You are greeted with the intoxicating smell of coffee as soon as you walk in he door- and then past the bakery cases of delectable sweets waiting to be purchased. My... More

I stumbled upon this lovely establishment while in Columbus for a conference. The menu looked good on their website so I stopped by to check it out. I enjoyed the beef, sauerkraut, mushroom strudel very much. The flavors worked well together and the pastry was flaky. I was curious about the Rock Me Amadeus coffee, but decided I will check... Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mozart's last week! There's not many places where you can enjoy a live pianist (I'm not a pro, but he really sounded great), with a nice glass of wine, a calm atmosphere, and a delicious meal. How can you not love the place! Our dinner was great, we had some goulash soup, and some savory... More

My grandfather had his own German and Austrian deli and bakery so I am spoiled. The food here is fair. My dish was not presented very attractively, the veal was curved like fried white fish, the vegetables were plan and tasted uninspiring, the coffee pretty cold. The restaurant wine was very average. In my "humble" opinion I'd rank this food... More

Our business group booked the back room for a special dinner, and to reach it we had to pass the tempting bakery counter, casual tables, and the pianist. Immediately I felt we were in for a warm welcome on a cold and windy evening. The large function room had another piano at one end. I could still hear the pianist... More

The desserts are top-notch. The different coffees are tasty, too. But the highlight of your time is the live music on the piano. It definitely feels artsy..kind of strange and kind of fun. If you need some time to talk with friends, check this place out.
