Anand and Doris Saha, the creators of Mozart's, met in Switzerland in 1989. Anand studied Hotel Management while Doris completed her training as a professional pastry Chef. When the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio arose in 1995, the couple risked everything they had to open their own bakery and make Columbus their home. After struggling for the first few months, they soon found themselves the creators of perhaps the best pastry shop in the city. With the generous support of the Columbus community, Mozart's has grown famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that could not be found anywhere else.

Bought a Groupon for afternoon tea for 2. What a nice comfortable place. We got to.enjoy various pots of tea while they served us courses of yummy food. It stated with scones with raspberry/apricot jam and Devonshire cream. Next course was a plate of various finger sandwiches. Filled by a plate with 3 luscious desserts. It was delicious and very... dined with a large group the other night and was very disappointed in food. The appetizers were not much more than ham and cheese on bread cut in triangles and the cucumbers on cracker were bland The salmon strudel was stuffed with very little salmon and was served at room temp . Our group was not that large and food... More

I stopped into Mozart's the other day while moseying around Clintonville and it did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken paprikash dish, which was a great deal of food for a reasonable price. The staff was knowledgeable about any questions I had, both about the menu and the diverse pastry case, and also recommended to me their personal favorites. If... More

Mozart's has wonderful food and a calming atmosphere. Authentic European cuisine, which includes schnitzel, spatzel and German beers and wine. The service is very attentive and the live piano music is not too loud, but provides for nice background ambiance. Food is delicious and fresh, and a good deal for your money. Our dinners came with bread, an entree and... More

Due to much hype about this restaurant, we traveled 30 minutes to have lunch. The room temperature was chilly and we found it very inconvenient to have lunch in our jackets. Our waitress was soft spoken and a little pushy. No reason for this attitude as the place was not busy. My friends lunch was quite tasty, but my quiche... More

I was there in a group of six and everything was top notch. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was attentive and polite, and the atmosphere was just the right mix of old world charm and Midwestern casualness. I had the Beef Stroganoff over Spätzle with ratatouille, a smoked salmon appetizer, house wine and a large scoop of... More

This place is beyond amazing! First, their employees are friendly, patient, and very helpful! Second, their food is to die for! I ordered the rum balls for my post competition food after the Arnold`s and I was not disappointed! I also had a peanut caramel torte! The desserts are light and filling, but they aren`t heavy on the stomach, which... More

I visited Mozart's after work on weekday. It has a nice ambiance and great service. It has all the refinements of a fancy restaurant but really doesn't feel stuffy. It seems like their goal is to provide a sample of European cuisine, east and west, and they do it well. Spatzle from Germany, wiener schnitzel from Austria and chicken paprikash... More

Thank you for sharing your experience! I am glad that you enjoyed the European dishes featured on our menu. Owners Anand and Doris Saha enjoy showcasing their Austrian heritage with specialty items like Wiener Schnitzel, Chicken Paprikash, Sacher Torte, and many others.
