All the locals are there eating so you know it has to be good. They serve the usual bar-type food but with a twist. For example I had the grilled cheese, mac and cheese with pork BBQ sandwich. That is a grilled cheese sandwich that has mac and cheese and some BBQ pork in it too. Served with slaw it... More

The food was good, the place is kind of small, but it was packed at 8:30pm. It's in a quaint little neighborhood area. I had the Mac and Cheese, another person had the beef stew in bread bowl, both items were very good. They have special brews too. We would go here again.

We have been fans of the Old Mohawk in German Village for 48 years, and as we drive from downtown, we call upon OnStar to provide the directions to the Old Mohawk. German Village is so small that... I stopped into The Old Mohawk Restaurant following a morning photo prowl in German Village. Arriving at noon and seeing the restaurant was very full I was prepared for service to be a little slow. However, drink orders were taken and a menu was brought to us immediately by our waiter. The service was flawless throughout the meal. I have... More

LATE OCTOBER ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT The chill was in the air and I decided to call an old friend with whom I've eaten many a meal; The Olde Mohawk is his favorite place. For me, it's never been my favorite place, but the atmosphere is always fantastic and very suitable for either a romantic dinner or two to four... More

While on vacation with my family, I ran into this restaurant while touring the German Village, the food was fine, the price was so-so, overall an average restaurant.

Used to enjoy going to the Mohawk for food and drinks. Our last visit was horrendous. The staff was very unfriendly. Our food was basically dropped at our table, and then we were left alone until we begged for our check so we could leave. I had to leave the table to even get the check. The food was also... More
