Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984!
Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon!

We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.

Living in the midwest far from NY Deli food, I have made Katzinger's a regular stop on my annual drives east. The lines are long, but the wait is worth it. Huge sandwich selection, you'll be sure to find what you want in a variety of combinations! Then there are all the 'sides' and salads - delectable whitefish salad, crunchy... More

Katzinger's is has been the best for a long time and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon. Amazing Cheese selection, AWESOME sandwiches and deserts, with a hometown feel. A++

Great cheese selection for carry pout, but meals in are less than optimal. Seating area seems dirty with marks all over the walls, and staff going in and out of bathroom and storage room. Price would be easier to swallow if the atmosphere was more appealing.

This place is great! LOVED our meals and the choices available. Each sandwich was large enough for two to share, although we didn't. We did however choose a couple of delicious sides from the deli case and shared those. All you can eat pickles were a Pickle Lover's dream. That atmosphere was fun and the staff very friendly. We look... More

I guess that's part of the deal with Katzinger's: You know it's overpriced but it's still very good food. My sandwich was great, but I got it to share with my wife, so we ordered double-meat, and that made it a $16 sandwich. You'd think it would have been huge, but it was still served on semi-normal sized bread. It... More

Ordered the Memories of Morris #64 hot corned beef on rye. A good deli sandwich for Columbus Ohio however not worth the price for what you get elsewhere in real authentic deli's. The sandwich is good, but nothing special compared to say Slyman's in Cleveland. The matzo ball soup is bland and disappointing. The Stealers and Blondies are tasty as... More

I enjoyed the number 39 Ruben. It was made with Hot Pastrami instead of corned beef. They do have the traditional Ruben with corned beef. The Matzo Ball soup was good. The matzo ball was soft and soaked up the chicken soup. the soup was flavorful and not salty. the only disappointment was the potato latke. it was hard with... More

We love this deli and try to stop in when on our way through Columbus. It has some great pastrami and corned beef. My wife likes the chopped liver with a slab of onion on rye. The deli case has a fantastic array of artisan cheeses. And, don't leave without some fresh bread.

stopped here one Sat morn about 11am. virtually no crowd, but by the time we finished there was a long line. overwhelming # of sandwiches to choose from. I went with a basic pastrami--very good flavor, although it was pretty chintzy on the meat (admittedly, I ordered the small sandwich). Lots of interesting things in the deli case; I will... More
