Description: Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.

We visited Katzingers while in Columbus at Nationwide Childrens Hospital. We actually walked to it from the Ronald McDonald House. Took about 15 minutes to get there. It is very quaint. The food was really good. I had the rueben on recomendation from a friend. The small sandwich was more than I could finish. Service was very fast - less... More

In the mood for great nosh? This is the place! Kosher deli at it's finest. Small deli with a full, stomach friendly menu. The corned beef was delish as well as everything else our party tried. The breads are wonderful - even GF options if that is a concern. Many salads (but let's get real people - you came for... More

WOW! My mind was blown when walking in and seeing the menu. If you are totally into deli sandwiches this is the place to go. It's a bit pricey but soooo worth it.

We always enjoy this place since it is the best deli we know in Ohio. All the sandwiches and sides are delicious. The sandwiches are made to order and make a great meal. All the meats--pastrami, corned beef, etc. are lean and tasty. I miss this place since we moved out of town.

Not worth the hype truly. Food is average. The ton of fruit flies were pretty gross. Ehh. Did not stand out as a great deli for us.

Tis a grand November weekday to be driving to Columbus; perhaps the last day of sun and 60 degrees for a while. We have been fans of Katzinger's Delicatessen in German Village for 48 years, and as we drive from downtown, we call upon OnStar to provide the directions to the Old Mohawk for lunch. German Village is so small... More

At the original Katzingers in German Village, you get wonderful large portions of delicious pastrami, well prepared sandwiches, and great salads. We expected the same at the new Katzingers branch in Columbus's North Market. But it's just the opposite: our food was small, poorly prepared, overpriced, all with inattentive, indifferent staff. We ordered the 'best thing I ever ate,' sandwich... More

If you are down for a $10 sandwich, this place is for you. The portion size makes the price palatable. Lunch gets busy, so I usually go a little early or late. Get the Karhl's killer club, the Katzingers reuben, or the Upper yough reuben fo the win!

Katzinger's has really good sandwiches and Jewish food with free pickles. The store in the front is interesting too. I would give the place 5 stars if the sandwiches were a few dollars cheaper.
