Description: Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.

Tis a grand November weekday to be driving to Columbus; perhaps the last day of sun and 60 degrees for a while. We have been fans of Katzinger's Delicatessen in German Village for 48 years, and as we drive from downtown, we call upon OnStar to provide the directions to the Old Mohawk for lunch. German Village is so small... More

At the original Katzingers in German Village, you get wonderful large portions of delicious pastrami, well prepared sandwiches, and great salads. We expected the same at the new Katzingers branch in Columbus's North Market. But it's just the opposite: our food was small, poorly prepared, overpriced, all with inattentive, indifferent staff. We ordered the 'best thing I ever ate,' sandwich... More

If you are down for a $10 sandwich, this place is for you. The portion size makes the price palatable. Lunch gets busy, so I usually go a little early or late. Get the Karhl's killer club, the Katzingers reuben, or the Upper yough reuben fo the win!

Katzinger's has really good sandwiches and Jewish food with free pickles. The store in the front is interesting too. I would give the place 5 stars if the sandwiches were a few dollars cheaper.

I've never seen so much food in my life. This is a great place to go to try new things or satisfy most cravings. I've been twice and plan to return soon. I had an amazing pastrami sandwich and a delicious salad with all the fixings, so simple, but they use the best ingredients. I recommend this to anyone visiting... More

the Reuben here is really quite good, as are the knishes (the mushroom one especially), and the regular, as well as garlic pickles. if you really love NY bagels though, don't have high expectations. But, top your meal off with the rugelach cookies and you'll be back.

I've lived in Columbus for seven years and only this month did I finally make it to Katzinger's. I'm so glad we finally went because this was definitely the best deli/sandwich experience I've ever had. The prices may make you gawk a bit, but there is a direct correlation to how delicious and well-executed the food tastes. I really enjoyed... More

I have been coming to Katzingers for years. They have excellent corned beef, hot dogs, smoked fish, and cheese. Food is very fresh and they make for the most part excellent sandwiches, but not always. Among their help they have a lot of turnover and it shows. None the less food is very good. I usually get an extra lean... More

Hard to find a really good deli here in Columbus. It's nice to have a place to go when I want a good Lox and cream cheese pumpernickel Bagel, with onion, of course. Really miss a variety of these stores when out. Love their loaf breads. Very authentic.
