Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.

There are so many different deli sandwiches that it is easy to get over whelmed; however, Katzinger's has categorized the sandwiches by meats to make it easier. The open dill pickle "barrel" is a neat deli touch. They also sell prepared dishes and desserts to compliment the sandwiches or to enjoy alone. Katzinger's has a very unique selection of cheeses,... What a fun place! Katzingers dishes up great sandwiches on fantastic fresh breads. They have the real sour dills in the barrel like to old time Jewish style delis in NYC use to have. The combo corned beef, pastrami sandwich with slaw and russian dressing was worth the calories. Nice cheeses deserts. The restaurant/deli gets busy and has limited seating. Fun... More

Best Deli in Cbus. Edge of German Village. Pickles in a barrel, 40-50 sanwiches, large retail cheese selection, and meats. Great to eat there, or take out.

They offer a wide variety of sandwiches at a decent price. A plus, one of their large pickles are included with every sandwich.

This German Village diner will remind you of the typical New York Deli with overstuffed sandwiches, including ham and cheese on rye with spicy mustard or perhaps a Reuben with corned beef and sauerkraut or better yet, pastrami and Swiss with thousand island dressing, pasta salads, coke slaw then finish up with key lime pie. Eat in or take out-this... More

If I'm in columbus, this is the go to place for lunch. Tons of options, free pickles, great service and great location. Free parking close by, or street parking.

My wife and I stopped for lunch with our daughter and her boyfriend. It filled up quickly on a Monday so we were glad we got there early for a table. They have a decent bottled beer selection. I had the Hebrew Brewing Messiah and Genesis offerings which were very good. My wife had the Rueben which is their best... More

The best Rueben sandwich I have ever eaten. The potato salad is great also. We love the pickles!!! I am sure every sandwich on the menu is great but I cannot get past the Rueben to order anything else. It is a little price and usually very crowded but well worth the money and the wait.

The only comparison for this deli would be one of the old-time delis in New York City. There are dozens of listed sandwiches or you can build your own. (They will serve the meal on gluten-free bread as well). The sandwiches come in two sizes, large and huge (the standard size is plenty big). The side dishes are outstanding. In... More
