Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.

Homemade chicken salad, applewood smoked bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, honeycup mustard on rye. Awesome sandwich with a pickle from the famous pickle barrel... actually found myself unable to eat the entire sandwich because it was so huge! One sandwich = two meals if you can agree on your selection. Can't wait to go again to try another sandwich.

This is a very authentic German deli that is very busy during meal times but well worth the wait and visit. Be sure to try something truly German while visiting.

We met friends here for lunch--great food once again. Everything is freshly prepared and so tasty. They have a very large menu and so many good things to choose from. Good desserts and great kosher pickles as well. Wish we had a similar place near us.

There are so many different deli sandwiches that it is easy to get over whelmed; however, Katzinger's has categorized the sandwiches by meats to make it easier. The open dill pickle "barrel" is a neat deli touch. They also sell prepared dishes and desserts to compliment the sandwiches or to enjoy alone. Katzinger's has a very unique selection of cheeses,... What a fun place! Katzingers dishes up great sandwiches on fantastic fresh breads. They have the real sour dills in the barrel like to old time Jewish style delis in NYC use to have. The combo corned beef, pastrami sandwich with slaw and russian dressing was worth the calories. Nice cheeses deserts. The restaurant/deli gets busy and has limited seating. Fun... More

Best Deli in Cbus. Edge of German Village. Pickles in a barrel, 40-50 sanwiches, large retail cheese selection, and meats. Great to eat there, or take out.
