Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984! Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon! We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.

Best blintzes this side of my mother-in-law's!

Okay, the Reuben is amazing too:) It's all good - pickles, blintzes, desserts, breads - all of it. Worth a stop.

I've been a patron here since 2000... can't believe I've never reviewed my fav. deli! Having moved from Columbus about 5 years ago, I miss Katzinger's terribly. Every time I come back home, I have to stop here. It is the epitome of Jewish deli awesomeness. The range of sandwich options here is huge... but the best, hands down, is... More

Very good food and atmosphere at the south edge of downtown Columbus. The service was friendly and efficient. About the only complaint is that it's a bit pricey compared to similar fare elsewhere, but the portions are generous so you could share a full size sandwich to make it more reasonable. The pickles (free) are very tasty too.

Katzinger's is a real Jewish deli with great pickles and bagels and excellent sandwiches. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in Columbus OH. If you're from the New York area you feel as if you've gone through a wormhole back to the city. The atmosphere is bustling and very deli-ish. But if you are craving dessert, save... More

Visited for lunch on a Monday with my son. We ordered two sandwiches and two sides, and will have enough for dinner tonight as well! They offer free unlimited pickles, and a wide variety of sandwiches with fun names. A great casual place to be fed well.

Katzingers may not have the very best matzo ball soup I have ever had, but this is Columbus OH and the matzo ball soup was / is delicious. When ever I am sick with the flu or cold, I stop by Katzingers for a quart of Jewish Penicillin. The corned beef is also a delicious sandwich. One might think Katzingers... More

Albeit a little expensive, this Deli has an amazing and comprehensive menu and is as good as any you can find in New York City.

The roast beef sandwich is great and so is the corn beef as witnessed by the lines to order. Like the atmosphere too. also many imported cheeses. Once saw a confused kid stick his whole hand in the pickle barrel.

This place is famous as President Clinton visited it. It does reek of the Jewish Deli vibe. We live within a few blocks of it and have visited many times. However, I do feel there are better deli's close by. Don't get me wrong, everything is always freshly made, with many selections on their menu. It is most definitely pricey... More
