OK, nothing was really BAD when I ate here. But nor was anything especially good or memorable. If you want a casual meal before a game with friends, you could do worse. But there was nothing here that made me want to come back. Except maybe the Peach Cobbler. That was good.

Great smoked, grilled wings. Sundays 60 cent wings and $10 pitchers. Can't beat it. Food is good, wings are great.

Went with friends last night. We all had the wings, beer and appetizers. Appetizer was ok. We asked for a few more chips for the dip was told there was a charge we said fine. Beer could have been colder but good selection. Wings were very good. Would get them again. Did ask for an extra sauce was again told... More

I love their beer, some of the best in Columbus. So naturally when I see that they serve barbque I interested. Took my wife, daughter and friend. I had their ribs - cold, tough and dry. My wife and friend had pulled pork sandwiches. When they asked from more sauce it came with a price. None of the food was... More

I decided upon Barley's Smokehouse instead of the other brewpubs which are located downtown, as there was a hockey game going on, so I knew they would be jammed and parking would be tight. I was sorry I did. The beer I drank at the smokehouse was average at best. I opted for the four-beer sampler and none of them... More

I went here with work colleagues and had an enjoyable time. I liked their samplings of scotch for their scotch flight samples. The wait staff was friendly and personable.

After reading a somewhat mixed bag of reviews, a colleague and I decided to go to Barley's for an early dinner. We arrived around 5:30pm to a pretty empty restaurant (it's pretty big) and were promptly seated. Our server was there pretty much immediately and took our orders / got us our beers quickly. The IPA was drinkable and the... More

We go to Barley's about twice a month and are always pleased with the food the service and the beer. I truly believe they have the best brisket in central Ohio. The rest of the BBQ is good but the brisket overshadows the rest. They also have a pretty good fish and chips. There house brewed beers are all quite... More

A group of friends goes to a quilt show in Columbus every year and we meet at Barley's. I look forward to each year and try something new. First of all, their beer is great. I am not a grits person but I tried their shrimp & grits in tomato gravy and it was excellent. Hats off to them. I... More

We usually go to this former haunt when meeting large groups of people or to grab some decent BBQ. I usually get the southwest salad - nothing fancy, but lots of good food.
