Food easily could be better but the sauces are the culinary equivalent of the proverbial blunt instrument: overwhelming, overpowering and wholly inappropriate. Service is no better than Applebee's; complete with altercation between bartenders. There are better choices in the area. If a down-market experience is OK, others do it for lower cost. If you are looking for an event, there... More

Been there three or four times and never had a good meal. Decided to try again and not any better. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and a Filet. I had a Caesar salad which ended up being iceberg with mozzarella and Italian dressing. The bass was a breaded triangle of fish. It oozed with juice when I cut into... More

This is a great restaurant when you're looking for a nice, quiet place to eat. I've been here for both lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed my meals. My most recent visit was on a Friday night. We had reservations but probably didn't need them although the restaurant was starting to get a little crowded by the time we... More

Friday July 25, one of the specials for restaurant week was Amandie Walleye with mashed potatoes & vegetables with soup and New York style cheesecake. What a great deal. Our waiter was TJ who had a great big smile from the time he gave us a welcome to the time he got tip. Great servive and a meal.

The location was very close to our hotel and the wait staff was very friendly. Our food was.... pretty good. While I could complain about little things - I won't. Overall it was a good meal and we'd eat there again and just hope for a better experience and a stronger drink ;)

I really only went there to meet someone for drinks. However, the menu seems wonderful, and the atmosphere is very nice. It's in walking distance from the Hampton Inn, and I overheard reception recommending this place. I plan to dine there when I am in the area again.

This is a special place that you can invite your friends or out of town folks and they will be very happy with the restaurant. Don't let the name fool you, It is more upscale than the local bar and grill. It is casual dinning with class and a great menu where the price is just right. When you are... More

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Polaris Grill this weekend. When I arrived I felt under dressed because the place was decorated very nice and it just felt very special. I thought, "now this is a restaurant!" The lights were dim, giving a romantic feel. I ordered an extra dirty martini. It was good with blue cheese stuffed... More

Wife and I had dinner at the Polaris Grill last thursday evening. She had a parmesan chicken meal and I had a filet. My filet was part of a deal that involved (for me) a cup of gumbo and pineapple upside down cake for $28. Filet was perfectly cooked. Gumbo was very tasty with huge hunks of chicken, sausage and... So good! A little fancy for my usual brunch, but great value for the price and the amount of food that you get. I had the Waffles and they were delicious!
