I Came. I Saw. I Conquered.

Columbus, Ohio can be thought of by some as nothing more than your average Midwestern city with a die hard college town reputation. I find it to be so much more; the city is packed with so many gems to see and do. And eat. One of the coolest neighborhoods I've seen anywhere is the marvelous German... read more

This food Mecca is a great place to dine if you're looking for great burgers and a hole in the wall atmosphere. The only problem is that's exactly what it is. Since my previous visit a while back they added a few more high top tables to increase seating. To my dismay I spent the better part of my dining... More

Have you ever eaten at a place when you visit a city and think, if I lived here, I would frequent this place. Well, Thurmans is that kind of place. Great ambience of a neighborhood bar that serves great wings, fries, onion rings, and a huge variety of burgers. Great food and beer and fun. Must go to place.

Went to this place after seeing it on the Travel Channel. The burgers looked good, but television didn't accurately show just how dirty and loud this place is. It was 10pm on a Thursday, and there was a 45 minute wait. We didn't want to deal with the dirtiness and the noise so we walked out.

Wife and I were in town for Rock on the Range. Food was great, beer was cold and service was friendly and good. I ordered the Rad Shroom Burger and it was excellent.

Great burgers! You can't go wrong. I have eaten here a dozen times or more and have always been very pleased with the meal. Great atmosphere....a lot to look at. Sometimes crowded but worth the wait if their busy. If you want a great tasting never disappointing burger go here. One of the very best in Columbus.

Have lived in Columbus for8 years and people have been telling me I needed to try Thurmans Cafe. Went Sunday and will be back soon! One of the best burgers I have had! Cook perfect, medium rare. Onion rings absolutely perfect. Cant wait to bring my Daughter, son in law and granddaughters here, they all say I make the best... More

Every time I visit Columbus I stop by the Thurman Cafe. Both times I got the thurmanator burger. It is massive. Great quality burger and great taste. Get there early. We had a 2 hour wait but they now have a take place right beside them. We ordered from the take out window and only had to wait 20 minutes... More

If you want to visit a rustic, family owned, one-of-a-kind burger joint to have one of the most amazing burgers you've ever had, this is a hard to beat place in the Columbus OH area. The burgers here are huge! One burger easily feeds 2 unless you are one of those crazy eaters. We had the Thurman Burger and the... More

We walked in and asked the hostess if there was a wait and she says in a snotty voice, "No we're just having a party in here. " It's one thing to be sarcastic and joking, but another to be rise for no reason. We were looking forward to trying Thurmans out, especially since we're not from around here. That... More
