Warm and friendly family owned Italian restaurant

I just moved to downtown Columbus from years spent in the suburbs. I was wandering around looking for a nice place with good food and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I found it at Cafe Napolitana. I got there early - between the lunch and dinner crowd, so there weren't very many people there. I sat... read more

We went to Cafe Napolitana on a whim. We wanted pizza and this was one of the places that showed up! I have to say, this was a great find! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! Great size and great value, we paid $15 for a 12" pie and drinks. The ingredients were fresh and they... More

What a perfect location for an understated Italian restaurant - just a few yards from the city's heart intersection (Broad & High Streets) with entrances off High and Pearl Alley. The restaurant is split with lots of tables in the front half and a cozy taproom in the back with a pool table. The new barkeep is formerly the master... More

We were looking for a place close to the theater to get a drink after a matinee. We found this and sat at the bar. There were two police officers eating at the bar also. We ordered beer and Bruschetta. This was probably the best bruschetta I have ever had. It was six pieces of homemade bread topped with tomatoes,... More

For pizza, I have high standards. Andolini's at Tulsa oklahoma is fantastic. This place, as the title suggests, is mediocre. To be honest, I find the way they wash their dishes to be a little unsettling. Yes they have a 3 chamber sink per regulation, but it shouldn't be filled with clean dishes. I would go back, if I had... More

We were recommended cafe napolitana by a friend so we decided to try it for my birthday. The server we had (a brunette with short brown hair) was very slow so we ordered our appetizer at the same time as our food. As an appetizer, we ordered bruschetta (a COLD side). We ended up getting our appetizer AFTER our dinner.... More

I always like to patronize locally owned establishments when i'm out of town so I'm glad we stopped here. The pizza was above-average and affordable. Soothing music was playing the evening we were there. It certainly was a relaxing place to dine. Parking meters were right out front so I didn't have to worry about finding a place to park.... More

This little restaurant is a great place to take a group of students after a show at the Ohio State Theater. We preordered and when we arrived, the salad and our drinks were ready. Our pizzas were served within 10 minutes, hot out of the oven. The food was good -- not spectacular-- but perfect for a school group. About... More

Go there for simple, honest food with good taste. It is a relaxed place where nobody has to pretend anything. Good service.
