Best local NY style pizza in Columbus!

I've been craving NYC pizza since my trip last Spring and FINALLY found a local cousin of the chewy, foldable, fresh pie that I fell in love with! Borgata makes most of their menu in house from scratch- some of the freshest ingredients around. The service is fabulous. The restaurant is small, the... read more

Awesome food, great service, atmosphere could be improved. THE FOOD Maybe the best Italian sub ever, excellent bread and toasted to perfection. The pizza and Calzone were outstanding. THE SERVICE Very friendly, moderately efficient. THE ATMOSPHERE What is with restaurants bent on ruining atmosphere with fluorescent lights.

Best cheese pizza I've had in a long time! The meatballs and gnocchi where excellent as well. To top it off try the Buckeye cannoli!

I grew up on NY style pizza. Lived in Columbus 25 years and been looking for a good pie all that time. I've finally found it. This place is the real deal. If you like the square cut cracker crust this isn't your place; however, if you are looking for true New York style, soft crust, fold it over pizza,... More

Be warned.... This is not standard Ohio pizza. This is New York style pizza and it is fantastic. I have not had a bad pizza there and I've had quite a few. The roasted veggy and chicken is one is my favorites. Last I checked, they aren't open on Sunday. That is bad for a pizza place during football season........ More

I found Borgatas through Trip advisor. We have been pleased with what we've found through the app while we've been traveling and I decided to use the app to find a new place near home. We ordered a large pepperoni and we were impressed with its flavor. It had a good bit of sauce, but it wasn't overly saucy. We... More

Borgata has really excellent no-frills homemade Italian food. Great service, downhome atmosphere, pizza-pasta-salad-sandwich menu. All quite good. The pizza is particularly outstanding (thin crust, nice homemade sauce, not too much cheese...). The marinara sauce is quite excellent and the pasta also fresh homemade. Not one of those fru-fru too fancy by a half type places. Real food done right, and... More

Have been customer since the place opened and we absolutely loved it. There was a little hiccup as the management transitioned, but Borgata is not only back but is better than ever. First off the service, you are greeted when you walk in and thanked when you leave. You feel Ike a valued customer. The facility is very nice and... More

Tonight was our second visit to Borgata and it was just as amazing as the first. It's not a convenient place for us to get to but I have a feeling we'll be going out of our way to get over there regularly. On both visits, we ordered the three cheese pizza and asked to have artichokes added even though... More

I've eaten at Borgata's before, so I thought "hey, gyro pizza! Sounds interesting!" It turned out to be the most horrid thing I've ever eaten in my life. I spent $28 for a pizza and salad, and it was so bad I threw it all away. If I had been dining in the restaurant, I would have sent it back;... More
