Fairly high prices for very generic food. Many of my team dinners are here (not my choice...) - its nothing special. Adequate and accommodates groups.
Food was great here and decently priced. The ambiance was more of a mid-age ambiance; better for larger gatherings than dates.
First of all, we were very happy that this is a locally owned and operated restaurant. They do accept reservations and the night we visited the restaurant filled up quickly. So make a reservation if you can. The food was very well prepared. The goat cheese appetizer is brought to your table and set on fire which the kids and... More
A fantastic experience. The food was delicious. I had the scallops which were excellent. My husband got the special of the evening. It was a beef (5 oz filet) kabob & shrimp kabob (6 shrimp) for 20.95. That beef had to be the most tender meat we had ever had. The dip for the bread is very different. I really... More
I live in Flint Michigan. When it comes to good SEAFOOD, Flint is a vast wasteland of blah. The only places in Flint with passable seafood dishes are Red Lobster and Redwood Steakhouse (Lodge). The food here at Fisherman's Wharf is SO much better than anything in my hometown. I ordered the Coquille St Jacques entree. This dish is better... More
The food in this very chain-style decorated restaurant was OK, but nothing special. Scallops were tasty, once I could eat them, but were served burning hot. Sticky rice pilaf was a side and the humble baked potato was an upscaled vegie at an additional $3.00. Key lime pie tasted like it was prepped earlier in the day and stored in... More
Went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Last time went to Fisherman's Wharf was at a different location and a completely different atmosphere. Walking in, we knew this restaurant was more upscale. Had the salad wedge with blue cheese and balsamic vinegar. It was a perfect balance. The main entree chosen was salmon with dill sauce and lemon sauce on... More
We were a served a very salty soup. None of the food were good that day. It was my second time there. First time was good. When we complained about the soup they didn't charge for that. But didn't go there after that.
The building and location may feel a little "chainy", do not be concerned. This is a family run restaurant and the owners are definitely hands on. The hostess was pleasant and accommodated our request for a booth, which was very kind as it was a busy Saturday night and we were a party of two. Our server, D, was prompt... More
Tonight was our second visit, celebrating our son's 35th birthday. He had crab cakes, my wife had filet, and I had sea scallops. Everything was very good, and the portions were generous. Prices were reasonable. Many entres give a choice of serving size and price. Service was excellent. We will be back for thirds.
