It was pretty good!

We went here with some family who are locals. I got the soup and salad bar. The food was pretty good. There was quite a bit to choose from too. The restaurant seemed very clean too. I don't think it's as great as the locals think it is but all and all it was decent.

Went with extended to this local, very busy, Pennsylvania Dutch themed restaurant. No high cuisine, but good meat and potatoes fare. I had the ham loaf special with their version of seasoned fries with dip as well as the stuffing that comes with most dinners. A soup and salad bar go with the meal. The salad bar is not huge,... I've been eating here for years and its never been a disappointment. The food is amazing, the gift shop is always fun and the hospitality is second to none. If you are tired of the fast food world and truly appreciate sitting down to a good home cooked meal, take your family here.

The restaurant is sooo clean, the waitstaff neat, smiling and eager to help. Meals are hot, tasty, and reasonable in price. My husband always orders the tapicoa pudding! Wondering through the gift shop is fun. Entering and exiting the building has wonderful odors from fresh baked goods, you have to take some home!.

Visited here as one of our stops on a car cruise. Seated us in a back room, and the service was very friendly and prompt. They had a buffett breakfast, but did not get and ordered the French toast instead which was very good. Nice bakery in front of the store which smelled wonderful when you walked in. There was... We eat here frequently because the soup and salad bar is delicious. Many choices on salad bar like 3 bean salad, sauerkraut salad, pasta salad. Homemade bean soup, vegetable, potato, all are my favorites. My husband almost always gets the fried fish which he loves. I like to try different things like roast beef, shrimp, ham and cheese sandwhich. Everything's... More

We had the breakfast buffet and wasn't impressed. All the items were fried, had been sitting there for hours, were dry and had a strong greasy aftertaste. Coffee was weak. Had better at a 7 11. Stay out if the fake Amish shops

A dinner at Das Dutch House starts by walking in to a bakery filled with some of the most beautiful decorated cakes you'll ever see. They are worth of their own TLC or Food Network show! Then you get to sit down to the kind of home cooking you wish you grew up on or could cook today. Homemade bread... More

My husband and I ate dinner here last week while visiting Sheely's in North Lima, about 6 miles away. While the Dutch Village is clearly meant to attract tourists and tour buses, we found DAS Dutch Haus to be an affordable and clean restaurant with a myriad of food choices. We selected the fried chicken dinner and the turkey on... More

Had to come back to Columbiana County for my Dad's funeral. Have a particular dislike for the home town area: lack of education, culture, bigoted. Took him to visit some Mennonites I know, and took him the "Dutch House" just for the total experience. He liked the food, but having grown up when the old Country Corner in Columbiana had... More
