This is the cleanest, friendliest restaurant with a staff of helpful people. Rebecca was our wait person and she made our visit memorable. The food (especially the green pepper soup) was the best we have eaten. We always plan our trips in that area to include the DAS Dutch Haus.

Group of 6 - two small children - two seniors and the wife and I. We all had the buffet - it is very similar to any hotel chains buffet. Self serve everything except coffee and water. Everything is obviously from a can but good cans. Was it worth the $60 we spent - yes - any more Definitely not.... More

We absolutely loved the fresh baked breads & pastries (the apple fritters were amazing). The breakfast buffet had a good selection and was reasonably priced, everything I tried I liked.

I did not eat from the buffet - everyone was raving about it. But I had 2 eggs perfectly cooked and STEAMING HOT when the arrived. The home fries were perfect and the toast was so tasty. Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out. This did not disappoint!!!

Had lunch here with a friend. We were seated quickly and the service was excellent. We both elected to indulge in the salad bar which had many delicious options. I had an open faced hot turkey sandwich (all white meat) and it was delicious. We didn't order any desserts, but I saw other diners who did, and they looked wonderful.... More

This place is mired in a time warp a couple of decades ago. It is "farm food" that farmers quit eating when their cholesterol got alarming. Some food looks better than it tastes and vice versa. The high meringue on the pies comes from an addition to the egg whites and sugar and many of the ingredients look like they... More

Saturday night prime rib was good. I'm not a fan of starches or the old-fashioned plating with your entrée on one plate and your sides on another. I liked the apple dumpling; the crust was just right and there was plenty of cinnamon apples. It's just the right size to make you reel once you finish it. The other entrees... More

I grew up near the Das Dutch Haus restaurant, and despite moving nearly two hours away make an effort to visit the place every few months. Their traditional apple pie is some of the best I've ever eaten; it's become the standard that I measure all bakery pies by. The weekend fried fish special (go for the "jumbo haddock") is... More
