Good Turkish food and a nice wine bar

This restaurant serves Turkish food that even someone unfamiliar with that cuisine can enjoy. The staff are Turkish and friendly. There is a modest wine list but a nice wine bar that is essentially stand-alone. Often there is good crowd on weekends. There is also is substantial outdoor seating... read more

Wonderful Turkish food. There are good vegetarian options, though the strictly vegan options are more limited. The ownership, one or more of who are often onsite, and staff are very nice and hospitable. Its usually packed on a Friday or Saturday night, but easy to get a table other times. There is generally enough parking if you don't mind a... More

Best Turkish food & wine. Excellent friendly service. I had yogurt kebab "Iskender" & it was delicious. "kunefe" for dessert was light & wonderful. Portions were generous. We tried a bottle of Turkish wine & enjoyed it very much

The food here is consistently good perhaps because the owner is always here Only caution don't ask owner about Turkish politics unless you want the spend the whole night listening to a wandering monologue and still be puzzled regarding his political views As well as filet mignon shish kabob I recommend the broiled Bronzini

I have dined here for lunch several times and always end up ordering the donar. The lunch portion is $10 and served with a choice of starter (I had red lentil soup which was excellent). The main dish is shaved lamb and a little beef with rice and cabbage and a small serving of Lubni. The food is very good... More

I have a wheat and dairy allergy. I ordered the vegetable soup and asked for it to be gluten free and dairy free. They said it was. The order comes with white rice and I asked if they carried brown rice. They said no, but they have bulgur. I said no I can't have bulgur because of my allergy; I... More

This is a great spot in our neighborhood. Food is wholesome and excellent. Staff is great. Wine list is good and not a rip off. My only complaint is that menu does not change, and if one is a regular, you get tired of it after a while. Occasional diners will not have this problem.

Relaxed restaurant with great food and service. Love the chicken soup, lentil soup, eggplant moussaka, grilled fish, i could go on . Everything is delicious and service always quick if you are going to a play down the street at the local theatre Dobama.
