My husband and I went to Lola just for dessert - as calling a week before was not enough time to get a more timely dinner reservation. It worked out well though - we just went there after the comedy show. We also were able to sit out on the patio on a beautiful night - and East 4th was... More

In Cleveland for a business trip, just stumbled on this when walking down the pedestrian way. Service was great, my pal loved the soup, our scallops were fantastic. After everything we were brought truffles - can't remember all that was in it except the unexpected balsamic - we raved about them so much we got two more!

My husband took me here for my birthday & I'll admit I was a little intimidated by the menu. To me nothing really sounded appetizing. "Crispy Pig ears, Beef cheek pierogi, Pickle sauce on the beef hanger steak??" sounds kind of gross but all three were all delicious. The pig ears, tasted like a crunchier version of bacon. Suprising, I... More

Let's start with the pro's - we timed our 200 mile driving trip to the east coast to end up in Cleveland twice - on the way here, we ate at B Spot and tonight at Lola's....... and both were worth the effort. Our server was Elizabeth - her recommendations, attentiveness, and pace of the meal were excellent and helped... More

We had a really nice meal to start our weekend in Cleveland. Lola is located near the theater district on a pedestrian only street with many other restaurants. The service was very attentive without rushing us. The food was all well prepared but the lamb loin was especially delicious. The beef cheek pierogies were a great appetizer. The wine list... More

We came to Cleveland to try Michael Symon's much-touted restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The craft cocktails were fresh and provocative. We enjoyed marrow bones, pork chops, grouper, the cheese course, and a chocolate dessert. Everything was richly flavorful and engaging through creative taste palates. The service was spot on, always immediate and attentive while never hovering.

Not only were the Sea Scallops amazing...so too were all the other entrees flowing effortlessly and artistically out of the open air kitchen. Like a well oiled machine, we dined and observed the culinary symphony being conducted from our perch at the Chef's Table. We have dined at chef's table several times, each time brings a new experience. Its a... More

If you only have one night to spend in the Theater District of Cleveland, Ohio, and you happen to be with your other half (perhaps the better one), and are looking for somewhere great to eat, then go to Lola's on Fourth Street...just go! This "bistro" is a five star eatery with one of the largest wine selections around. Our... More

Lola's is a Michael Symond restaurant....and it is fantastic. We had a lovely dinner and the menu changes seasonally, so you can go often. Our main course took some time to arrive, but was delicious. The manager was so upset that we had to wait that he gave my wife a copy of Michael Symonds book....signed by the chef. We... More

Went here with my boyfriend for our first year anniversary dinner. It is legitimately my boyfriend's all-time favorite restaurant, We shared a shrimp dish for appetizer, and it was easily the best shrimp dish I have ever had in the United States, certainly not shrimp from Lake Erie :) For the main dish, I had their salmon. It was delicious,... More
