one of my favorite restaurants in the cleveland area especially downtown cleveland. great atmosphere, service and food.!!
First the ambiance of East 4th street is great. Then the anticipation of a great meal and they didn't disappoint . There were four in my party - three of us had steaks and one had fish. All meals were great. My steak was the best steak I've had in a restaurant yet.
I have been to this spot many times and always seem to get a bad attitude from the staff. I am just tired of the snobby attitude. The food is damn good but there are many choices on East 4th if you don't want deal with that "we are doing you a favor by letting you eat here" nonsense.
As a great admirer of Michael Symon we drove the 3 hours, across the state of Ohio just to dine in his flagship restaurant. The experience did not disappoint. this is a pretty good restaurant, but it's a little more than I care to spend. We were there for lunch, the food was great. My daughter and I were there on a visit, and wanted to try Lola's when we were in Cleveland. Parking is a little rough, I'll take a cab next time. At the restaurant, the entrance was puzzling, as I had never been there before, and at first felt I had to negotiate a small hall of mirrors, alas, I figured... More
I was on a business trip and a colleague suggested Lola for dinner. It's located on a side street near the arena surrounded by lots of unattractive looking restaurants. As we walked down this street, I wasn't sure that I would go into any of them. As we entered Lola - boy, was I surprised!! A fabulous looking bar backed... More
This was my first time to Cleveland, and I wasn't sure how great the restaruant options would be. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover Lola's. Some of the appetizers and entrees are not so mainstream as to be boring but also aren't so unusual and scary sounding to discourage someone from trying. Had a very enjoyable, pleasant evening dining... More
I must confess that we had, had a few too many cocktails before our 10pm dinner reservation so we didn't get to enjoy Lola to its fullest potential. However, my friend ordered every appetizer on the menu before needing to leave early which meant my wife and I got to enjoy and pay for them all. No complaints, everything was... More
