This was my first try after having heard so much about Mitchell's. It didn't disappoint! I really liked that you could do a sampler because the flavors are all so tempting! Very reasonable prices and I liked being able to see the people making the ice cream with the fresh ingredients. I'll be back!

A must visit near the West End Market. The ice cream is fresh and in most cases or all cases, organic or from a farm to table mentality. It is fun and family friendly, reasonably priced for the quality and the choices are great. I had the peach and strawberry and they were excellent.

Black raspberry chocolate chunk.... the chunks were large, the raspberry taste out of this world. The coconut was exceptional also. The staff bend over backwards to be helpful and cheery. It was pleasant to sit inside or outside and watch some of the clientele, Case Western Reserve students, whoop it up with pleasure.

This ice cream shop was built into an old movie theatre, and they've done a beautiful job of renovating the place. You can go to the second level or back into a first floor hallway and watch the staff through the glass as they make new batches of ice cream. Everyone else here has already raved about the ice cream... More

Mitchell's is the best ice cream I've ever had. Period. If you're in Cleveland, and you like ice cream (dairy or vegan) you must go to Mitchell's (there are a few of them in town but this location is my favorite). The flavors are rich and creamy and have a wonderful depth of flavor. The flavors are traditional and adventurous,... More

Ice cream is really THIS good? It really can be BETTER at a place like Mitchell's? It blows away Jeni's, it blows away Haagen, it blows away Ben, it blows away Jerry, it blows away Steve, it blows away Emack, it blows away Graeder's. Do you get the picture? Let me put it this way. My best friend lives in... More

Loved walking 25th st in Ohio City (West Cleveland) and finding this icy cool spot. Comfy modern decor. You can see the production line as you wait to give your order. The line was justifiably long and tempting as you overlook the options; the possibilities were many and delightful. I've never had gelato I enjoyed as much as the Salted... More

As all the reviews have said, the ice cream is creamy and delicious with interesting and robust flavor combinations. We loved the location. It is situated on W 25th street a short block from the Westside market. We stopped on a lazy Sunday afternoon after lunch at a local eatery. The shop is in the renovated Rialto Theatre, circa 1919.... More

The first time I had Mitchell's was as a featured Sundae in local eatery . In a word it was amazing. It had ginger snaps in it as well as a local Christmas ale. When going to their newest ice cream shop right in the heart of the city - in the shadow of the infamous West side market I... More

Love the open views of the ice cream being made. Right in the city, open for people to see. Our grandkids loved watching them make the ice cream, and so did we!
