Researched places to eat in Cleveland, found Momocho. Talked to a few people in Cleveland if they ever heard of it they said worth going. They were right. made a reservation. The staff was great and so was the food!!! Make a trip!

I can never figure out why it's so hard to get a reservation at this joint. It's a decent enough restaurant but you need to make weekend reservations way early (a couple of weeks). They have a sister restaurant in Lakewood, the food is similar, El Carnicero. Getting in there is no problemo

If you are reading the reviews of Momocho's then you know how wonderful, flavorful, and unique the food is. I found that all to be true and more. The service and treatment is what I noticed along with the food. We couldn't consume all the food we ordered and were sitting there rubbing our stomachs when the su chef came... More

This Mod Mex restaurant never fails. I've never had a bad thing on the menu, but the guacamole has to be the best. You can choose from various types of guacamole or even get a sampler so you can try three at a time with homemade chips. My favorite has to be the bacon garlic guacamole. I could make a... More

This is quite possibly the most amazing Latin food I've ever had, it's up there with Rick Bayless's Frontera Grille in Chicago. Their different types of guacamole, their tamales...just off the hook. Just a tip, try to get a seat at the bar, you get better and friendlier service there and the drinks have a stronger pour. If you sit... More

Located in Ohio City, a few blocks from the West Side Market, lies Momocho. Housed in an old house, this small but enjoyable restaurant serves up Mexican cuisine with a twist. The appetizers were wonderful, our group enjoyed guacamole with goat cheese, an interesting salsa (with a kick), and stuffed poblano peppers. For the main course, all four of us... More

If you are looking for a fabulous Mexican meal, GO to Momocho. Situated in a quiet area of Cleveland it is small intimate setting that isn't much to look at but the food is fantastic. Highly recommended is the Guacamole but choose anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. The habanero sauce that they sell by the... More

Dropped into Momocho for lunch on our way through town based on a web search and were not disappointed. Top quality latrino menu with interesting variations (5 or 6 kinds of guacamole). Large portions and quality ingredients justify to price i.m.o. Good selection of beer and wine and a comfortable terrace to enjoy them on.

The location of Momocho is a little out of the way for an east sider, but well worth the trip. No its not much to look at and is very casual, but the food is quite inexpsive for the high quality that is served and unusual considering the lack of high quality specialty restaurnatnts in Greater Clevlenad. I wouldnt hesitate... More

First time there, thought the food was good, but I didn't think that there was a big difference from the chain Mexican restaurants, for the money. Very pricey! Known for their guacamole, we had the sampler, it was tasty. You pay for your chips, that was different. For the four of us, we had an entree each, the sampler, two... More
