This is quite possibly the most amazing Latin food I've ever had, it's up there with Rick Bayless's Frontera Grille in Chicago. Their different types of guacamole, their tamales...just off the hook. Just a tip, try to get a seat at the bar, you get better and friendlier service there and the drinks have a stronger pour. If you sit... More

Located in Ohio City, a few blocks from the West Side Market, lies Momocho. Housed in an old house, this small but enjoyable restaurant serves up Mexican cuisine with a twist. The appetizers were wonderful, our group enjoyed guacamole with goat cheese, an interesting salsa (with a kick), and stuffed poblano peppers. For the main course, all four of us... More

If you are looking for a fabulous Mexican meal, GO to Momocho. Situated in a quiet area of Cleveland it is small intimate setting that isn't much to look at but the food is fantastic. Highly recommended is the Guacamole but choose anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. The habanero sauce that they sell by the... More

Dropped into Momocho for lunch on our way through town based on a web search and were not disappointed. Top quality latrino menu with interesting variations (5 or 6 kinds of guacamole). Large portions and quality ingredients justify to price i.m.o. Good selection of beer and wine and a comfortable terrace to enjoy them on.

The location of Momocho is a little out of the way for an east sider, but well worth the trip. No its not much to look at and is very casual, but the food is quite inexpsive for the high quality that is served and unusual considering the lack of high quality specialty restaurnatnts in Greater Clevlenad. I wouldnt hesitate... More

First time there, thought the food was good, but I didn't think that there was a big difference from the chain Mexican restaurants, for the money. Very pricey! Known for their guacamole, we had the sampler, it was tasty. You pay for your chips, that was different. For the four of us, we had an entree each, the sampler, two... More

Came here with my boyfriend and sat at the chef's table and it was awesome. The chef told us about what he was making and gave us samples of a bunch of stuff. Our favorite things we had were the smoked trout guacamole, the corn on the cob, and the dessert--fried ice cream. YUM. I wouldn't suggest the chef's table... More

Made a reservation about 2 weeks in advance for 7 pm on a Saturday night. We parked in the restaurant's small lot (about 10 spaces). Table ready right on time. The four of us were seated upstairs which was very nice. There is also seating downstairs, around the bar and outside. We ordered the margarita samplers right away. Can't go... More

Took my boyfriend there for a date, we had wonderful food (rabbit empanada appetizer, scallops, and waygu beef meatballs) and drinks (cucumber margarita is OUTSTANDING). My one complaint is that there was a speaker right near us that was a bit loud, but nothing terrible. Excellent and prompt service. Definitely a good date place, not somewhere I'd go regularly thought... More

We have traveled from Columbus to eat here twice this year...really unique food and delicious. Chips were hot when we ate their amazing guacamole, spicy mango Margaritas are the best I have had!! The four of us always order something different and everything has been amazing. Last night we tried the braised short rib tamales and we all agreed -... More
