Best mexican food in Cleveland

Seriously. The title tells it all. If only I were able to digest it a little better, it would be an Excellent. Prices are affordable, incredible variety of guacamole, and a beautiful atmosphere.

This restaurant bills itself as Mod Mexican cuisine, but they are trying too hard to be different. They are throwing the "kitchen sink" into their dishes, so much so, that you need to keep asking the waiter what you are eating. The best dish of the evening was the guacamole sampler. The smoked Gouda was outstanding. Our waiter was very... More

The food is good. It's not fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice and very festive. Great place to take a date and has good vegetarian dishes. I like to be generous with my reviews but fall a little short on this one. Seems to be a bit pricy although with their volume I don't blame them for their pricing. Service... More

Definitely would return for fresh unique dinning experience. Great great Mexican food! The inside is a little cramped, and dinning room felt like an upstairs bedroom in a house. I thought the decor would be a little more over the top. The food will keep me coming back though!

Amazing choices, and interesting and tasty. Our waiter Damian was friend and very knowledgeable with wonderful recommendations. We had the Margarita sampler, loved all and the guacamole was delicious. Our entree's were Pork Chop and Scallops, enjoyed all the flavors in both.

Momocho did an amazing job accommodating our large group of family celebration members even though we arrived in waves and ranged in age from 12-71. Our attentive serve got each new arrival bunch set up with drinks right away and kept good cheer through all of the high-jinks of our motley crew. One of the first really nice touches was... More

We had dinner reservations for 9:15 on a Friday night. We arrived at 8:45 hoping to sit at the bar for a drink before we were seated at our table. The place was packed! It was wonderful to see so many people having a good time. We couldn't find a seat at the bar so we stood until our table... More

We were looking to try someplace new and stumbled upon Momocho's. It was packed full and we managed to find two spots at the bar. We ordered wild boar tacos that were simply amazing! They have many different kinds of guacamole which we delighted in trying two different varieties. Its a definite must try!

This restaurant was a hidden surprise for certain. Located on the end of a building and hidden behind two doors though marked parking is next door. Huge variety of guacamole (I had the pablano and pomegranate) and taquitos (I had chicken). This is not the traditional Mexican food you expect abs the taquitos reminded me more of street tacos (not... More

Visited for our traditional day after Thanksgiving anti-Turkey cleanse. As with every year, we were not disappointed. Five of us this year enjoyed a six-pack of margarita, goat cheese guac, a couple of Tecate beers, a cauliflower dish which was new, remolacha, three machaca and a chicken skewer Tinga. Finished with a bread pudding Capirotada and a Mezcal sampler suggested... More
