Modern mexican= modern perfection

Amazing. Mexican with a perfect amount of twist. Patio seating, very hip decor. Their guacamole sampler is the perfect start. Pork belly and vegetarian taquito were on point.

This long-time Cleveland building has housed some wonderful experiences. But, non as wonderful as the current tenant, Momocho. The ambiance is noisy, energetic, pulsing with cool. The menu is outstanding starting with the gajillion iterations of a margarita, to the multi-flavored guacamole samples. You cannot help but love being a part of something this exciting.

We were very lucky to get the last two bar seats otherwise it was over 1-1/2 hour wait. if you go MAKE RESERVATIONS!! (I know it was a Saturday night) Started with both the smoked trout bacon w/chili poblano guacamole and traditional with chips. Both were really good. For the main course I tried the machaca it started out great... More

very creative and delicious menu, definitely not your basic mexican, so I'm not sure if very picky people would like this place as much. I had the tamales and they were life changing. The margaritas were great and come in a bunch of different flavors. We also got the guacamole appetizer which had smoked trout guac, goat cheese guac, and... More

The corn on the cob appetizer was fantastic (I may want to try to recreate that at home!) Guacamole was phenomonal! Very fillign meal, but still had to try the deep fried ice cream. Was not disapointed!

This is a cute small establishment. The guac is amazing! And it's fun to try the margarita sampler. This place gets packed on the weekends and doesn't have a ton of room, so get there early!

All I wanted was a place with a bar near by so this was the winner. And we ended up being the winners. The drinks are amazing, and I'm very fussy. The food may take a bit to get there, the place is packed and has great vibes, but when it arrives it is bliss. I tried new things and... More

Double date night. Must have reservations! We tried 3 different times to walk in to no avail. We started with The Guac and Margarita samplers. Favs were the smoked Trout guac and for the margies I loved the cucumber and the red bell pepper. (Very cool and different take on a Margie. Sort of almost like a Bloody Mary) Also... More

Can't say enough good things about this place. I've been here twice and loved it both times. It will certainly be a regular stop when in Cleveland. 1/2 off tacos for happy hour is something to remember. Get a couple friends together and share a few plates of tacos and a guacamole sampler. Can't go wrong. Everything I've had was... More

My husband and I ate here while in town a few weeks back and I cannot say enough good things about this place. We adore Mexican food and Momocho takes it to a whole new and delicious level. Really interesting combinations and different takes on Mexican classics. Not the same old, same old. We had the guacamole with goat cheese... More
