Friendly valet, spacey hostess, great bar tender, good wines by the glass, noisy, great waiter, exceptional food! This over-the-top-with-MEAT restaurant made me a vegan pasta that delighted with every bite! Delicious guava sorbet and a refreshing, light lemon trifle. Good job!

Ate at Lolita for happy hour with a friend. You need reservations for happy hour and we called too late, so we sat first-come/first-served at the bar. The bar is relatively small and right at the door and it was cold, so we sat at the end fartheest fromt he door and closest to the pizza oven where it was... More

Went on a Tuesday night. Upon entering the hostess looked up and said "What can I do for you?". Would have been a bit better if at least "Hi, what can I do for you." But no. Was tempted to say we're here for an MRI, but meekly simply said, we have a reservation, name. Without eye contact, she led... More

We are foodies and I agree, sometimes we are too picky, but our last trip to Lolita (a creation of the Iron Chef Michael Simon) was beyond disappointing. I do not care if it is a hole-in -a-wall or if it is expensive. If the food is great - everything is forgiven. Not this time. We expected excellence. I do... More

Although pricey, the food at Lolita is always perfect, always different. The service is the best, too. My favorite place to eat in Cleveland.

Six of us including my sister from Calfornia finally got to Lolita's after a long desire to go there. We were sadly disappointed. They would not allow us to BYOB. The hostess had the flattest affect . Our server was curt and not very friendly. The food was average at best, Not worth the money. Sister restaurant Lola's is much... More

We were in Cleveland for the weekend and had a most delicious meal at Lolita. The appetizers portions were large, the duck meatballs were simply wonderful! Service excellent, everything about this dinner was just perfect.

Very good but not the wow hoped for. Wine list is adequate - given that Ohio allows no BYOB (period- what a CONSPIRACY!) - but the wine our waiter recommended was average at best. Several apps were special and pizza - thin crust just right with Mushrooms & garlic - was very good. But somehow pizza as a primary selection... More

We went after a Cleveland Browns game, so were dressed very casually. The staff was gracious and accommodating when we arrived early. Very comfortable atmosphere and just a little upscale. Service was outstanding. We both decided to try new dishes and were thrilled. The mussels were amazing. My husband had the hanger steak witch he loved. Pork is my favorite... More
