Next time going to Li Wah

Went to Sunday dim sum with family. Not as good as prior visits. Staff mildly surly. When asked to bring cart from other side, we were told "it's the same as this one." When second cart did come, it had different items. Some items not warm. Had to ask 2 or 3 times for water. Seem to have... read more

My husband and I arrived in Cleveland much later than expected due to weather on Valentine's Day, and had to reschedule our original reservations. We were still very hungry when we arrived but weren't in the mood for fast food, so we were pleased to find this place was open until 1 a.m. The food wasn't the best chinese we... More

Our friends came in from out of town and wanted good authentic Chinese food. We took them to Bo Loong. We have eaten at Bo Loong many times and have always left satisfied and carrying containers of food. Our friends loved the atmosphere and said Bo Loong was an excellent choice.

The place was freezing when I arrived. One of the wait staff said it takes 3 hours to warm up and the owners did not turn on the heat until an hour before the lunch crowd came. Had I known a way to contact the people I was meeting for a business lunch, I would have chosen another spot. While... More

Best Chinese I ever had was Chin's in Cleveland ...... Long gone but not forgotten Father use to drive 45 minutes to get the food and bring it back and we would watch Big Chuck and Hooligan and eat Chinese late at night.

Back in the day, this East Side eatery was the place to go for good Chinese fare and dim sum. You need to get past the small storefront parking, the bland brick facade and the older interior and you can still enjoy the Cantonese entrees. But many suburban Asian restaurants have come along and these days you don't have to... More

Really used to love this place. I went once a month from July to October to give it a fair chance. Opened around 86 and I worked just down the street then. Doesn't do the business it once did. Everyone is across the street now at Siam Cafe. One thing they do serve that most restaurants do not is War... More

Absolutely an awesome place to eat. A little cold inside, so bring a sweater. Highly advise the following: Hong Kong Porkchops, Beef Guylon (ask for guylon to be cooked a little extra), chicken chow mein with pan fried noodles. If you go for "breakfast" dim sum...everything is enjoyable. Tell them, "Kentucky Wong's sent me!" and ask if Alex can be... More

We found ourselves in Cleveland again over the Easter weekend. The previous year we had dim sum at Li Wah, and decided that we would try a different place this time and settled on Bo Loong. Our sightseeing in the morning ran longer than we expected; we ended up at Bo Loong for lunch at 2pm. We were a little... More

Went to Bo Loong this past weekend. A bit of background: We have had dim sum all over the States, including San Francisco, NYC, DC, etc. I've had anywhere from excellent to very average dim sum. Unfortunately, Bo Loong is below average. Far below average. The "skin" and "coating" outside each dish was too thick and not fresh. Very crude... More
