The place was freezing when I arrived. One of the wait staff said it takes 3 hours to warm up and the owners did not turn on the heat until an hour before the lunch crowd came. Had I known a way to contact the people I was meeting for a business lunch, I would have chosen another spot. While... More

Best Chinese I ever had was Chin's in Cleveland ...... Long gone but not forgotten Father use to drive 45 minutes to get the food and bring it back and we would watch Big Chuck and Hooligan and eat Chinese late at night.

Back in the day, this East Side eatery was the place to go for good Chinese fare and dim sum. You need to get past the small storefront parking, the bland brick facade and the older interior and you can still enjoy the Cantonese entrees. But many suburban Asian restaurants have come along and these days you don't have to... More

Really used to love this place. I went once a month from July to October to give it a fair chance. Opened around 86 and I worked just down the street then. Doesn't do the business it once did. Everyone is across the street now at Siam Cafe. One thing they do serve that most restaurants do not is War... More

Absolutely an awesome place to eat. A little cold inside, so bring a sweater. Highly advise the following: Hong Kong Porkchops, Beef Guylon (ask for guylon to be cooked a little extra), chicken chow mein with pan fried noodles. If you go for "breakfast" dim sum...everything is enjoyable. Tell them, "Kentucky Wong's sent me!" and ask if Alex can be... More

We found ourselves in Cleveland again over the Easter weekend. The previous year we had dim sum at Li Wah, and decided that we would try a different place this time and settled on Bo Loong. Our sightseeing in the morning ran longer than we expected; we ended up at Bo Loong for lunch at 2pm. We were a little... More

Went to Bo Loong this past weekend. A bit of background: We have had dim sum all over the States, including San Francisco, NYC, DC, etc. I've had anywhere from excellent to very average dim sum. Unfortunately, Bo Loong is below average. Far below average. The "skin" and "coating" outside each dish was too thick and not fresh. Very crude... More

Authentic is the word. Bo Loong transports you to another continent. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is down to earth. The food is a beautiful song. This is no cornstarch and sugar menu. This is a culinary journey into the orient.

Reaching Bo Loong, I remember the days of eating dim sum there about 10 years ago. But this time, it was 7PM Sunday; all the traffic was at a restaurant across the street - people clamored for any parking spots there, yet at Bo Loong it was virtually empty. The only reason I chose Bo Loong was cos I had... More

Having traveled to other cities to have dim sum (Toronto, Philadelphia, San Francisco), I have to say that Bo Loong's dim sum has to be one of the best I've ever had-consistantly. No need to travel far to other Chinatowns. Weekends are the best with the best selection-arrive early. We always order our favorites-shiu mai, har gow, BBQ pork buns,... More
