Good food, good service, very expensive

Two couples had dinner at Morton's Cleveland. We had a great evening. We had appetizers of; Beefsteak tomatoes and onions, Beefsteak tomatoes and Blue Cheese and Oysters Rockefeller. Everything was very good, however, I was disappointed that there were only four rather small oysters for $18.00. We... read more

This used to be my favourite CLE restaurant, but alas no longer. The quality of the food just isnt there anymore. The pricing, for some dishes, is simply laughable - $54 for 4 shrimp a few blobs of crab meat and a couple of snow crab legs is an obvious example - but at least theres a bowl of badly... More

A Relief from the casino. The casino has no fine dining. Not even a block away.stands Morton's. Great steaks and wine. They accommodated us even though they were about to close.

If you look at my past reviews of anything one can think I am never satisfied anywhere anyplace. Last night proved this theory wrong. I have to say it was one of the best experiences I ever had anywhere. We both took advantage of their summer special with is basically a salad, side and desert for $40 each. This is... More

Wonderful steaks....and I really like their Caesar salad. Lots of Frank Sinatra Music..........I like to go here when we attend shows at Playhouse Square. It is right downtown....and in walking distance from the Horseshoe Casino, and the 3 Professional teams.

The service is the best I've had anywhere, anytime. I believe the servers are partly invisible, since dishes would appear, and also disappear without our even noticing. The food is outstanding, and the portions are surprising large. I had the braised short ribs of beef, and they melted in my mouth. Family members had a variety, including filet mignon, seafood,... Our waitress was fabulous, full of spunk and great suggestions. The grilled asparagus was perfect. Otherwise, it is a standard high-end chain. For a business dinner, it suited our purposes as it is so convenient to the Ritz-Carlton. If you are looking for a good, typical, traditional steak meal, this is your place.

Went to a private party and thought the food was really great for a buffet. Prime rib, salmon, sour cream mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and even a few green vegetables (although not too many!) Chocolate mousse was good as was the cheesecake. Good, basic food executed well. Nothing creative, nothing out of the ordinary. But reliable.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Morton's. This was the first time we dined at the Cleveland Morton's. The service was spectacular. The staff was incredibly professional and friendly. Kudos to them! The food was excellent. We had the summer special, four course meal for $49, which isn't readily advertised. It was really quite a bargain. We started... More
