Looking for some good food. Don't want some fancy restaurant. Like Italian food and pastries. This is the place for you. Nice atmosphere, friendly people behind the counter, this is a nice place to eat if you are in the Little Italy area.

This bakery in Little Italy is so amazing. Excellent cookies and pastries (get the cassata cake no matter how full you might be!); excellent lunch and dinner entrees (varies from day to day, but if the portabello fries are offered, get those!). Warm, friendly atmosphere. A little pricey, but everything is very high quality. I plan trips to Cleveland around...

I remember the older cramped Prestis when I was in college nearby. The new and shiny Prestis is great though because they offer more food choices and are a well oiled machine...I do kind of miss the crabby and dumpy feel of the old one though (just a leeeeetle bit??) Locals will know what I mean by that.
The sausage...

Presti's is absolutely a staple of Little Italy. If you're only in Cleveland for a day, make Presti's your must-go place. It's a cozy atmosphere for any time of day, my favorite being in the evening for a post-dinner coffee and pastry. The canolli are to die for, but you really can't go wrong with anything here.
Started my Saturday morning in Cleveland with an excellent latte and chocolate croissant. Brought some donuts home for family which they enjoyed. A decent place with a nice local vibe to it.
I visited Presti's with a local friend who knows the area, and I must say it was amazing. The weather had just recently afforded customers the chance to sit al fresco, and every table was taken, so we went in and ordered, and I allowed her to choose what I would have to surprise me. She chose a cannoli, raspberry...

This is a staple of Cleveland. Food is delicious, and atmosphere is relaxed. Presti's is more bistro dining rather than a restaurant. You order from the counter and then chose a seat. They have grab and go, as well as hot meals, plus delicious sweets. Be forewarned, plan for plenty of time because it is always crowded (sometimes a line...

I was in the area visiting Case Western and wanted to stop by Presti's to see what the buzz was all about. I knew this bakery/cafe was a "winner" as soon as I walked in the door--the fresh aroma of gourmet baked goods as well as a line of people almost out the door. (It should be noted that this...

Day before Easter this place was packed but we enjoyed the good energy of the place as well as delicious sandwiches and sweets. Definitely worth a visit if you're around University Circle.
This is a charming place to stop in and have a casual meal. Not only does it have the best pizza it has many other home cooked items and salads. The bakery is excellent as well. Take a number between 11 and 1:30 as the line is long and hard to find a table to dine. So, take out works...
