We stopped here for lunch during a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded at all, about 4 tables filled. Our waitress, Suzy, was not very cheerful nor much of a waitress. She took our order fast enough but we soon ran out of drinks and ended up asking the bus boy for refills. Our water glass was never refilled even... More

While visiting Cleveland recently, and staying in the University Circle area, my husband and I were dismayed to find that there were but few restaurants - and only franchise sandwich shops - open for lunch within several blocks of our hotel. It was a Monday, so no big surprise. So, we ventured up the road and into Little Italy. We... More

This is my cousin's absolute favorite restaurant in Little Italy, possibly all of Cleveland as well. In my opinion it rates well above many others in Little Italy for atmosphere and food. The twinkle lights and little chandeliers along the walls add a little something special to the experience and the rich reds in the decor make the restaurant feel... More

After a day out seeing the city we wanted to stop in Little Italy for a quick bite to eat. Honestly the only reason we went to Guarino's was b/c they had an open parking lot. The man who greeted us (and even opened the door for the ladies) was very friendly. Inside, not so much. The waitress was kind... More

We were walking in Little Italy on Mayfield Road and happened by Guarino's and thought the restaurant looked interesting. The decor was a little quirky but truly Italian!! The restaurant has been in operation for 90 years and the current owner came out and visited with us as she served our meals. Great lasagna!!!! We would highly recommend this restaurant... More

The food is solid not spectacular. The menu has nothing terribly unique to it. The service is fantastic in fact it was a teeny bit too fast. The food is good for what it is basic Italian food. I do like supporting Cleveland's oldest restaurant.

Our nephew and his new bride hosted their wedding rehearsal dinner there ! We were a group of about 20 last night. Enjoyed a great meal ( many options) from chicken piccata and lasagna to eggplant and chicken Parmesan . Wonderful garlic bread and Tiramasu for dessert. We enjoyed the upstairs room with access to the roof deck. Loved the... More
