Popular Irish Pub on Cleveland's Near West Side

Harp is not quite in downtown Cleveland, but not far from it either. If you come here for lunch, as I have, you will see a mixed crowd of downtown businesspeople, those from the suburbs, and friends meeting simply for a good time. This is a good place to meet friends or business acquaintances for... read more

Matt and I specifically planned part of our mini-vacation to be in Cleveland so that we could eat here. Once again, we were not disappointed. The weather started out nice, so we chose to sit on the patio. Our waitress brought our drinks quickly and gave us time to linger over the menu. We started with an interesting flatbread made... The owner at the Wallace Manor sent me here for dinner. I enjoyed the corned beef boxty, tender and filling and let the barkeep recommend dessert which turned out to be a generous portion of clove-dusted bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It washed down with an Angry Orchard cider from the tap. The barkeep was... More

Had Lamb Chops for the first time, and it was a very good meal, the waitress was very nice, explained some menu items and was quick to check up on us, especially important that my glass didnt run dry :-) Thanks for that

Not fancy, nor ostentatious. Just a lovely little spot with the air of an Irish pub and ample, traditional Irish fare. The Shepherd's Pie is quite good, and pick a Boxty -- any Boxty -- and you'll not be disappointed. The service is good, and the Lake Erie view is nice, but the place does get a bit loud when... My wife and I visited her family in Cleveland and went with them to Harp for lunch. After looking at the website and previewing the menu online, I was excited to go here. I pictured a renovated historic building that had exotic aromas wafting through the air when I entered. It did not live up to my expectations. The building... More

I was in the Cleveland area for a business trip and had dinner on a Monday evening. Since it was a week night, it was not busy and we had no wait time. Parking was tight, though...not sure what a weekend would look like. The menu had many choices. The waiter was not knowledgeable about gluten free and served me... More

When recently planning a dinner before a show at PlayHouse Square, we decided to venture 10 minutes west of the theater district. We arrived at Harp on a Saturday night about 5:15, which puts us in front of the main dinner crowd. Parking was easy in the restaurant lot, instead of on Detroit Ave. The four of us were greeted... I'm not Irish, and I've never been to Ireland, but if you closed your eyes you would think your in the middle of Dublin. Clean wooden tables, great selection of traditional Irish food entrées, with a generous pour of Irish and/or American beers. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice, overlooking the docks and Lake Erie. The meal was wonderful, as was the service. Plenty of parking.
