The food was excellent but it was extremely loud, almost unbearable. The service was mediocre, our drinks were empty most of the visit.
I have been to The South Side about six times, most recently today. We had a large (15) party in the room that is indoor/outdoor. In this room there is a double sided fireplace for this room and the outdoor patio. There is also a bar area. Lots of TVs for sporting events. Our server was very good: prompt, polite... More
My friends and I went here recently for a going away party. Keep in mind that high top tables at the bar area are usually not available for reservation. Personally, I like this place only if sitting at the high top tables, as the appearance is still that you're in a cool bar. Whereas the outside seating is secluded and... More
My boyfriend and I traveled to Cleveland for a mini vacation. We were so happy to find this place! He of course, had the famous chicken and waffles. He said "they were the best he has EVER had." I had the steak sandwich; it was cooked perfectly. Even when they accidently brought me chips instead of salad, they brought the... More
Nice atmosphere, ate outside on the patio. Good food, clean restaurant. Friendly waiter. The special ham and cheese sandwhich on the focaccia bread was a winner. Homemade potato chips were excellent.
great bar, and cannot beat the chicken and waffles, at least within the local area. Great for a quick business lunch as well
We espeicllay love to go here for brunch on Sundays - love those chicken enchiladas with the eggs on top!
We had a family gathering of 12 people ranging in age from 12 to 78. Everything went first class. We received a call confirming our reservations a few days before the event. We had a great table and a great waiter. The food pleased everyone. Zero complaints on our part and definitely would go back.
Good food. Great patio. I liked the burger well enough, but it isn't nearly as good as the Tap House, or even Heck's or Eddie and Eddie. Enjoyable place to have a few drinks, especially if you want to be outside. But, frankly, I'd choose the Tap House every time if I'm in this area.
On a suddenly nice Sun. we were looking for an outdoor patio to get something to eat. However, everyone we could find was full, including here. So we sat at the bar and enjoyed some delicious and unusual pork and potato soup. Never heard of it before but we really liked it. Split one of their sandwiches and enjoyed a... More
