I went with an Indian colleague, so the ‘discriminating scale’ was a bit higher than if it was just me. We started with the veggi pakoda and samosa. Both were very good, not at all greasy. For dinner we had Lamb Korma and veg dish, Malai Kofta. Both were very good, if not excellent. My colleague ordered three breads, naan... More

I visited this place today after about 2/3 months. It was never my favourite Indian place, but today it ensured that I will try my best to avoid this place in future 1. Biryani was no where close to what it is supposed to be 2. Appetizers (Non-Veg) didnt seem to be full cooked 3. All gravies seemed to have... More

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The last time I went there I was disappointed. I went back again today to give it another try. Something has changed. The food just doesn't taste good anymore. I ordered malai kofta off the menu because I did not like the taste of food on the buffet. My wife did... More

Saffron Patch has been a favorite among Clevelanders for years and often caters for various Indian events and weddings. The food is great and service is good. Owner George Stamos is very personable and always making sure everything is perfect. The only downside is the restaurant is located in an office building lower level which is difficult to find. There... More

In our neighborhood and always good Indian food....excellent, polite service. Food is well prepared and arrives hot. We always find Indian people dining here so we feel that is a good sign. It is located in an office building near a main intersection and has been here for years.

If you're looking for fantastic Indian food the Saffron Patch is the place! This restaurant is consistently the BEST. My husband and I travel a lot and have yet to find an Indian restaurant in ANY city that compares. There is a wide variety of delicious entrees to choose from...fish, chicken, vegetarian...some on sizzling platters that make every head turn.... More

We eat here about once a month. The food is great. The quality of the service is usually good, but it really depends upon the server you have. There are a few who are not so good.

This is a little hard to find because it is in the lower floor of an office building. It is worth hunting for, though, because their luncheon buffet really hit the spot. Saffron Patch's appetizers were pakoras and samosas which were perfectly done (not dried out) and delicious. There were not a lot of main dishes, but the chicken tika... More

I prefer Saffron Patch takeout because I hate tipping for mediocre service. The atmosphere is great, though. Totally 80s style without being ironic. Cool and retro. Reminds me of a place Patrick Bateman would have hung out at in American Psycho. If you can get a group of 6 or 8, try to get one of the private rooms. The... More

I started working in a lab, since then I have been introduced to Indian food from all over Cleveland and our resident students have all given me their take on their authentic Indian food Restaurants. I really like this place. We drove in from Downtown Cleveland and the drive was the scariest part. The part that the restaurant is in,... More
