We ate here over Labor Day weekend, and when I called to make a reservation, I was told that they only had the ability to seat a table of four at 5 or 9p.m. I chose the 5 o'clock time, but noticed while there, that the restaurant still had many open four-top tables by the time we left at 7.... Cleveland in general and this restaurant in particular was a wonderful experience during the Gay Games. Love the preservation of this interesting old building (and so many others in "Ohio City"), the tables outside and the warm low-humidity weather that we experienced. The very small menu was welcomed for its use of fresh local stuffs and original takes on new... More

I was in Cleveland visiting family and we decided on Flying Fig for lunch. The restaurant was very nice and there was no wait (party of 6). The food was great...literally the best BLT I have ever had and the bread basket was delicious. The only downside was the food took quite awhile to come out and when it did,... More

I had brunch here on the first Saturday in August. I ordered an absolutely delicious sticky bun. It was flaky and buttery and gooey all at the same time. I also ordered polenta with ragout and a crispy egg. This was also very tasty. I would definitely eat here again. Service was slow.

Ohio City is a great place to dine and the Flying Fig is a must for a fabulous dinner. Valet parking made is easy to get in and not worry about finding a place to park. I started with the beet salad which was extra yummy. Dinner menu is a little eclectic which we love so there were plenty of... More

Long time Cleveland establishment located in the very fun Ohio City neighborhood. Our first time visit was a great experience. The Bacon Wrapped Medjool Dates were very good, although it was a bit pricey for what you get. The Burrata was also very nice and tasty. The pork was very well prepared and full of flavor and the right amount... More

Stopped here because a friend of a friend knows someone. The prices are a little high but the food was delicious and the service was great. Would recommend to anyone who wants an upscale meal.

Nice place with a lively atmosphere. The burger, lettuce wraps and tempura green beans were excellent. The chicken meatballs with horseradish mashed potatoes were very bland but filling.

Reserved with Open Table. Went with 2 girlfriends. They were able to accommodate our outside seating request since it was a beautiful day. The host and our server were extremely nice and helpful with suggestions on selections. Ended up getting the beet salad and it was absolutely delectable! the flavors were simply astonishing. My friend got the Hoisin Glazed Cleveland... More

Ohio City has a number of terrific restaurants, and we had a very nice meal. It is located "in the shadow" of The West Side market. I went with family and we all ordered different meals -- salads, sandwiches and hot meals, and each of us was pleased. Even the standard offerings were unique and prepared perfectly. My only comment... More
