Cute bar for a quick drink!

A few friends were in town and we all went to the Flying fig whilst waiting on a tour over at Great Lakes Brewing Co. We had attempted to go into another bar around the corner (shall remain nameless) but their hostesses were rude and servers ignored us... So we got up, left, came to the Fig! We... read more

We celebrated Father’s Day at the Flying Fig and had a wonderful time! For some reason, the place was half empty on this Sunday evening, so we got to sit around the round table up front. Our server, Lynn, was friendly, attentive and had a quiet sense of humor. And the food was simply magnifique! For starters, we shared the... More

Came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. Hadn't been here in a few years and wanted to see what had changed. We ended up ordering a couple of sandwiches and drinks. I had the grilled eggplant. There were so many competing ingredients in the sandwich that I couldn't identify what I was eating. Very rarely in life do... More

Weekend brunch is a must do. Nothing better. Had the huevos rancheros, polenta and sticky bun. I drool everytime I think about this place.

I read some of the experiences from other reviewers and I have to say that our services was quite good, everyone greeted my daughter and me with a smile, and no one was anything less than friendly. I do agree that the absence of a hostess station caused us a bit of confusion at first, but we found the hostess... More

Always great food. I love what she does with fish when she serves it with veggies and a broth. She has a Pork Shoulder on her menu with kind of the same twist. I plan to go back and try that soon! This restaurant never lets me down! Karen is the true troubadour that has raised the farm to table... More

If you like overpriced, mediocre food served by snotty unprofessional staff who treat you like you are bothering them by eating at their restaurant, than this is the place for you! I was looking forward to a special lunch after visiting the Rock and Roll of Fame and wanted to go to the brew pub across the street, but there... More

My husband, myself, and 2 friends visited for lunch on a recent Saturday. When entering the restaurant, you are in a small room which appears to be a deli. The young man behind the counter greeted us pleasantly, and motioned us toward the restaurant door. The restaurant was quite busy and "buzzy." No one approached us to seat us. We... More

The food was decent. Not sure if they were understaffed last Saturday but slow to get seating, slow to get food. Once food came it was good. Next time will pick a restaurant in the market.

Always a craft cocktail, several wines and appetizers for happy hour. Get there early as it fills up quickly.
