Apparently they do not understand the word service and need to look it up, assuming they can spell. From the hostess, to the waitress, to the manager, they do not understand what it means to provide timely attention to the customer's needs. For example, it took the hostess ten minutes to seat the one party ahead of us (I even... More

I came by here this last weekend. It is a good atmosphere, it smells good from the initial glance, but the food provided for what you pay for is in a relatively meager portion and the pesto sauce I got on the Pasta was not the best I'd tried. I'm happy I ate here but I will likely try the... More

Parking in Little Italy can be an issue but valet service is offered for all the restaurants. We met some friends for an enjoyable meal with delicious Italian food. The waiter was attentive but gave us plenty of time to visit and to make our selections. The owner greeted us and told us his favorites when we asked. He even... More

Another flawless meal at La Dolce. Very good, authentic, Italian style cooking. This locally owned spot is not fancy, it is family friendly, and you will comfortable here for a business dinner as well as a birthday celebration. I had the veal parm which was served with the bone. Very tender, with an excellent marinara and perfectly cooked pasta. Other... More

The decor, the service, the food...all left much to be desired. There are much better options in Little Italy.

I was really pleased that the waiter and chef were willing to go so far out of the way for me. They presented bread that was not buttered, and the chef made up tiny cavatelli pasta with no butter, just olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olives. I was incredibly happy when this came out and the pasta was al... More

This is a good Italian restaurant, but not a great Italian restaurant. In Cleveland's Little Italy, there are many great Italian restaurants a few doors in either direction. La Dolce Vita's food isn't quite up to the standard of many of its neighbors, and it didn't help that our server reeked of tobacco. Pricing implies it's a great restaurant.

If you like American, Italian food this is a nice place to try. I have had more amazing Italian elsewhere but it is a good choice if you are looking for the basic staples.
