In Coventry neighbourhood of Cleveland another great independent restaurant...we so enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, innovative menu items that we returned again during our visit...please consider the spinach pie, something different.. Not sure how they do it but the crispest bacon I have ever had !!

Great place but I don't believe in going where I'm not wanted. My foreparents were not Civil Rights nor Pro-Black warriors. They were Black Liberation Warriors. They taught us to respect other people's right to entertain who they wanted in their establishments. That's why I was alarmed when I ordered two of their delicious meat pies and found the word... The best milkshake that I have ever had. Chocolate peanut butter is fabulous. Also had a meat pie with lamb, beef and grilled onions and provolone chees.

Tommy's is almost an institution, although they would resent being called that, in Cleveland Height's Coventry neighborhood. For those unfamiliar with Cleveland (actually, this is well within Cleveland Heights), Coventry is one of a small group of off-beat, free spirit (think Haight-Ashbury) neighborhoods in this midwestern city. Tommy's has been the heart of Coventry for something over three decades, and... More

I have been going to Tommy's for many years. Tommy's is actually the first place I got tofu. I had moved out of Cleveland about 14 years ago so when I visited this was a usual stop because I have been a vegetarian for almost all of that time and a vegan in the last year. There is plenty of... More

Very thankful to the other reviewers that recommended Tommy's! We stopped at Tommy's for lunch before continuing our trip out to Chicago. Everything was fabulous! There is something on the menu for everyone, whether a vegetarian or not. So many reviewers said to try their milkshakes so we all got one to go -- so surprised at the nice souvenir... More

Tommy's restaurant in my book. Is one of the most remarkable restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio. It is always my choice to dine at them. When I can or have the money to. This restaurant is in the Coventry area of Cleveland, Ohio. This restaurant sits on the eastside of Cleveland. Coventry in self. It is a must place all its... More

Now this is a breakfast or lunch must inCleveland. The dishes are unusual. The must try are the pancakes. Believe me one is enough if you don't want to overdo it. The Elsie sandwich sounds like real weird, man, but the combination of mayo, egg, greens, bacon and homemade peanut butter delights the taste buds. Oh and the coffee is... More

Our recent visit to Cleveland revealed a lovely suburban area called Coventry. The Coventry Village restaurant called Tommy's is reasonably priced and delicious. The cheese toast items are great, particularly the one call "the Quigley". I highly recommend it for a taste treat.

The best way to explain how much I love tommy's is that I have continued to visit here even after moving 2 1/2 hours away! tommy's has THE best malts and fries and delicious salads with the best, most fresh veggies. The hummus and baba are excellent! The salads are huge! Many of the food choices were named by folks... More
