Just had by far the best veal stuffed banana peppers served with fantastic red wine. The sea bass that followed was extreme and the service at the bar from Stacy and Bo was so tight. I have been to many places and this is on the top. I would love to hear from others on this place

We knew Johnny's on Fulton had a good reputation for its food, but for some reason we never went there until tonight. The place was "knocked your socks off" good. We ate outside in their courtyard and loved the scents of Tuscan herbs and vegetables growing nearby. Those scents took us back to Florence for a few hours. Service was... More

Our visits to Johnny's in the last 20 years are too numerous to remember. We (spouse and I, along with friends on occasion) have never had a bad experience. Sure, it's boisterous and occasionally loud, but that is another reason to dine there in my estimation. If you want romantic intimacy, go to Johnny's downtown or the Sans Souci in... More

Group of businessmen were continuously loud and using foul language consistently. Supervisor and or manager did nothing. Will not return.

Johnny's has slipped a couple of notches in my opinion. Long a Cleveland landmark, Johnny's does not seem to be making the effort that one would expect at this price level. During two separate visits, several months apart, we experienced similar issues. The most glaring was the service or lack of it. Two hours and 45 minutes for a dinner... More

Perhaps diners go for the nostalgia of an old neighborhood restaurant that had been a favorite for years. Atmosphere is quirky. Starched linens and the animal print carpeting with the unusual murals in the side room are still there. Unfortunately, the food quality is not. I was looking forward to homemade pappardelle. I was served an overcooked plate of stuck... More

My wife and I visited Johnny's on Fulton on 5/3/2014. We were seated in the back room, next to the doorway. The tables are very close together, and I opted to not sit next to the doorway. Upon arriving at our table, our server silently moved the silverware across the table to where I chose to sit, not a hint... More

Very attractive restaurant, could be romantic, voices really carry. A restaurant at this price level should have very good service and excellent food. Service here was indifferent. The recipes for the steamed clams and escargot were unusual but well cooked. Two of us ordered fish (salmon and grouper) they were not special but very well cooked. The scalloped potatoes and... Johnny's is fine dining with New York personality and a mix of old school charm. It is located in a traditional old Cleveland neighborhood - you'll note the exterior retro neon sign that reads, Johnny's Bar. The entrance does contain this long glistening dark bar and you get a real old school urban vintage vibe as you walk past chattering... More

We had dinner at Johnny's on Fulton the Saturday before New Years Eve. As expected the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Yes, everything (especially the cocktails) is a little pricey, but well worth it.
