Get in line at this cafeteria-style restaurant in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood and get ready for some incredible, big-portioned food that's friendly to the wallet. Pierogies, stuffed cabbage, Lake Erie perch, smoked brats and lots of daily specials. Then grab a seat and prepare to stuff yourself silly.

So good we visited twice during our week in Cleveland. Just simple cafeteria style service but terrific Polish fare. We sampled lots of dishes and enjoyed everything. Nice having a piano player providing background music. I will definitely visit Sokolowski's again should I find my way to Cleveland.

... Sokolowski's is something special. It's not your lunch lady salsbury steak! The fantastic perogies are with out question the #1 reason to go here. They are amazing. The view from outside the place is amazing. Just looking at Cleveland is worth the trip. Great food.

My family thought I was nuts to go to this restaurant as we normally go to fine dining....but the family loved it. I could just eat the perogies alone. Food was great but just a little pricey for cafeteria style dining.

Pierogi are special here, although other food is very good. Sokolowski's is a favorite of mine and many others because it evokes the "old Cleveland," of which not much is left. Sokolowski's also offers many ethnic favorites not generally available in other restaurants. One thing has always bothered me, however. Most diners get their food in the cafeteria line, go... More

Stuffed cabbage is my favorite and Solowski's has a great receipe. Meals are served cafeteria style. As we were going through the line, a guy behind us recommended that we add pierogis as a side. They were superb. One of our party had the salisbury steak and enjoyed it thoroughly. We were puzzled as to why the chow line begins... More

The food was good, the stuffed cabbage was great. Sausages were really good. If I lived here I'd go all the time. Plus great atmosphere.

Glad we found this place on here! We had 2 dinners: "City Chicken" (I think it was called) with mashed potatoes and pierogies, along with cucumbers and sour cream. And Chicken Asiago with potato pancake and pierogies, along with a fruit plate, and a shared dessert. Everything was excellent, and there was way too much to eat. Glad we had... More

If I only got one meal before starting p90x it would be here. The food is unbelievable and you get a lot of it. You can tell that it has taken decades to get as good as they are, other place in town can even compete. It can definetly be a little pricey if you don't control yourself by grabbing... More

As the good polish Parma born and raised girl that I am, I am ashamed to say this was my first trip to Sokolowski's. I've driven by the place my whole life on the way to my "Bubba's" house, but have never eaten there. Maybe its because I always got authentic polish and hungarian foods at home. But now that... More
